Wiring and Connections
Power Supply: Connect to main switch and fuse. The compressor can be powered by 12V or 24V DC.
Optional Connections:
- Secop Gateway (105N9518) for communication via LIN or USB.
- PC option (TOOL4COOL®) for monitoring and control.
- Display for status indication.
- NTC resistor for temperature sensing.
- Mechanical thermostat.
Spade connectors: 6.3 mm | 1/4 in.
Wire Dimensions DC: Tables show recommended wire sizes and maximum lengths for 12V and 24V operation to minimize voltage drop.
Troubleshooting Guide (Error Codes / LED Flashes)

6 Thermostat failure | Thermostat failure | NTC thermistor short-circuit or no connection; electronic unit enters manual mode. |

4 Minimum motor speed error | Minimum motor speed error | Motor cannot maintain minimum speed (approx. 2,150 rpm) due to heavy system load. |

Product Bulletin: Brazing Instructions
Brazing on BD Nano Discharge Connector: This section provides specific instructions for brazing the discharge connector on Secop BDN45F/-A, BDN50K/-A, MB3CKV, and BDN-EV compressors.
Important Notes:
- The discharge connector element is sensitive to high heat.
- Ensure the area with the discharge connector element does not exceed 150°C / 302°F during brazing.
- Do not heat the bottom of the connector directly.
- Use a fork burner and/or a damp cloth. A protective plate can also be used.
- Do not braze longer than 10 seconds per attempt.
- Wait for 5 minutes between soldering attempts.
