Power Up
Follow these steps to power up your clock and sensor:
- Insert 2 AA batteries into your Outdoor Sensor (TX191).
- Insert 3 AAA batteries into your Digital Clock (513-1918B).
- Once the Outdoor Sensor is communicating with your clock, place it outside in a shaded location to protect it from the sun's heat.

Custom Date Display
Choose to display the Full Weekday or Weekday with Month and Date. Simply press the SET button to select your desired display.
Diagram Description: The clock display can be set to show the full weekday (e.g., WEDNESDAY) or a condensed format showing the weekday abbreviation, month, and day (e.g., WED 10-23).
Settings
To enter the Settings Menu:
- Hold the SET button for 2 seconds.
- Use the + or - button to adjust values.
- Press the SET button to confirm and move to the next item.
Settings Menu Order:
- Language: English | Spanish
- Beep ON | OFF
- Atomic ON | OFF
- Daylight Saving Time:
- DST AUTO ON: Clock automatically adjusts 1 hour forward in spring and 1 hour back in fall upon receiving the atomic signal.
- DST OFF: Clock remains in Standard Time all year.
- DST ON: Clock remains in Daylight Saving Time all year.
- Time Zone
- Hour
- Minutes
- Year
- Month
- Date
- Temperature Units: Fahrenheit | Celsius
Note: If Atomic is set to OFF, the next setting will be Hour. Whichever language is selected, instructions and weekday will be presented in that language. Weekday will set automatically when Year, Month, and Date are set.

Atomic Time
Your clock automatically searches for the Atomic Time Signal at UTC 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00.
- Press the PLUS (+) button to manually start or stop the search for the WWVB Atomic Time Signal.
- While searching, the ? [Signal Strength Icon] will flash. The ? [Signal Strength Icon] will be solid when the WWVB Signal is received by your clock.

Time Alarm
Set Time Alarm
- Hold the ALARM button for 2 seconds to enter settings mode.
- Press the + or - button to adjust the flashing values.
- Hold the + or - buttons to adjust values quickly.
- Press the ALARM button to confirm adjustments and move to the next item.
- Press the SNOOZE button at any time to exit.

Activate/Deactivate Time Alarm
- The alarm is active when set.
- From the normal time display, press and release the ALARM button to deactivate or activate the alarm. The alarm time will show for 2 seconds.
- The ? [Alarm Bell Icon] will show when the alarm is active.
Snooze Alarm
- When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button to silence it for 10 minutes. The ? [Alarm Bell Icon] will flash.
- Press any button except SNOOZE to silence the alarm for 24 hours.
Outdoor Sensor Reception
If the sensor loses connection to the weather station:
- The weather station will show "NO" after 30 minutes of lost connection.
- The weather station will search for 3 minutes every hour to reconnect with the sensor.
- Hold the PLUS (+) button for 3 seconds to manually search for the outdoor sensor.
- The Reception Icon (? [Signal Strength Icon]) will flash while searching for the sensor. The outdoor sensor area will show dashes during the search.
- When the sensor is received, the ? [Signal Strength Icon] will be solid.
- If no sensor is received after 3 minutes of searching, the icon will disappear, and "NO" will again show in the outdoor sensor area.
Factory Restart
If outdoor readings show "NO" and searching for the sensor has not helped, complete a full restart:
- Bring the sensor indoors, about five feet from the clock.
- Remove batteries from both the sensor and the clock.
- Press any button 20 times.
- After 15 minutes, insert batteries back into the sensor and the clock.
- Wait another 15 minutes to establish a strong connection. Place the sensor outside in a shaded location.
Low Battery Indicators
- A low battery indicator between the Outdoor Temperature/Humidity readings means you need to replace the batteries in your sensor.
- A low battery indicator by the time means you need to replace the batteries in your station.
Sensor Weather Shield
The Sensor Weather Shield (sold separately) is designed to protect your outdoor sensor from rain and snow. This shield offers limited protection from the sun's heat.

Care and Maintenance
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix Alkaline, Standard, Lithium, or Rechargeable batteries.
- Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for intended use.
- Replace all batteries of a set at the same time.
- Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
- Ensure the batteries are installed with correct polarity (+ and -).
- Remove batteries from equipment that will not be used for an extended period of time.
- Promptly remove expired batteries.
