Insert the SIM and memory card

Follow these steps to insert your SIM and memory cards:

  1. Place your fingernail in the back cover opening slot, bend the back cover open, and remove it.
  2. Slide the nano-SIM into slot 1 with the contact area face down.
  3. If your phone supports dual-SIM, slide the second SIM into the SIM2 slot.
  4. If you have a memory card, slide it into the memory card slot.
  5. Replace the back cover.

Tip: To determine if your phone supports dual-SIM, check the sales box label for two IMEI codes.

Important: Use only original nano-SIM cards. Incompatible SIM cards may damage the card or device and corrupt data. Use only compatible memory cards approved for this device. Removing the memory card while an app is using it may damage the card and device and corrupt data.

Note: Switch the device off and disconnect the charger and any other device before removing covers. Avoid touching electronic components during cover changes. Always store and use the device with covers attached.

Both SIM cards can be available simultaneously when the device is not in use. However, while one SIM card is active (e.g., during a call), the other may be unavailable.

To remove the battery, lift it out.

Charge the battery and switch the phone on

Connect a compatible charger to a wall outlet and then to your phone using the USB micro-B cable. Charging from a computer via USB may take longer.

If the battery is completely discharged, it may take several minutes for the charging indicator to appear.

To switch your phone on, press and hold the power key until the phone vibrates. The phone will guide you through the initial setup.

SAR Certification Information

This mobile device complies with radio wave exposure guidelines set by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

FCC RF Exposure Information:

Your handset is a radio transmitter and receiver designed not to exceed FCC emission limits for radio frequency (RF) energy. Standards are based on independent scientific evaluations, including a substantial safety margin. The Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) is used to measure exposure. The FCC SAR limit is 1.6 W/kg. Tests are performed in various positions. The highest reported SAR value for this model when tested for use at the ear is 1.13 W/kg, and when worn on the body in a holder or carry case, is 0.842 W/kg.

For body-worn operation, the device was tested with a 1.0 cm separation distance from the body. To maintain FCC RF exposure compliance, use accessories that keep this 1.0 cm separation. Accessories with metallic components in their assembly should be avoided. The FCC has granted an Equipment Authorization for this model, deeming all reported SAR levels compliant with FCC RF emission guidelines. SAR information can be found by searching the FCC ID 2AJOTTA-1391 on the FCC website: www.fcc.gov/oet/ea/.

Additional SAR information is available at www.fcc.gov/general/radio-frequency-safety-0.

Sending data or messages requires a good network connection. Sending may be delayed until a connection is available. Maintain the specified separation distance until sending is complete.

During general use, SAR values are typically well below stated limits due to automatic power reduction when full power is not needed, which minimizes network interference. Lower power output results in lower SAR values.

Device models may have different versions and SAR values. Component and design changes over time can affect SAR values.

For more information, visit www.sar-tick.com. Mobile devices may transmit even when not making a voice call.

Your device is also designed to meet United States FCC guidelines. FCC ratings and more SAR information can be found at http://transition.fcc.gov/oet/rfsafety/sar.html.

The World Health Organization (WHO) states that current scientific information does not indicate a need for special precautions when using mobile devices. To reduce exposure, limit usage or use a hands-free kit to keep the device away from your head and body. For more information, visit the WHO website: www.who.int/peh-emf/en.
