Yaesu FTX-1 Firmware Update Information

• MAIN : FTX-1_MAIN V0105.SFL (6/27/25)
• DISPLAY : FTX-1_DISPLAY V0103.SFL (6/27/25)
• IF DSP : FTX-1_ IF DSP V0102.SFL (6/27/25)
• SDR : FTX-1_IF DSP V0104.SFL (6/27/25)
• CTRL : SPA-1_CTRL_V111.SFL (6/27/25)

Important: Please read the FTX-1 series Firmware Upgrade Manual.

Implement improvements (06/27/25):

• Added APRS message function
• Supports ATAS-120A Auto Tune (FTX-1 optima)
• Displays the selected HF ANT connector number at the top of the screen
• Improved APRS Beacon reception sensitivity
• Fixed issue with GPS coordinates not being displayed correctly
• Improved NB characteristics
• Fixed issue with VOL volume not being adjustable while CW MESSAGE or VOICE MEMORY screen is displayed
• Fixed issue with SUB side receiving sound being output during SPLIT operation
• Fixed issue with SETTING MENU not being backed up to SD card properly
• Other minor fixes

Note:

After installing the firmware completely, the FTX-1 must be reset. Refer to the FTX-1 series Operating Manual Page 79, or refer to the Firmware_Ver_Up_Manual_ENG_FTX-1_2506-B.

Reset the transceiver

1. Turn the transceiver OFF.
2. While pressing the [BACK] and [FINE/FAST] keys simultaneously, then turn the transceiver ON. The frequency display will return to "144.000.000" (SUB-side), "7.000.000" (MAIN-side).

This completes the firmware upgrading process.

If you already have the above firmware versions, it is not necessary to update the FTX-1 again.
