Please read the FTX-1 series Firmware Upgrade Manual before proceeding.

Implemented Improvements (06/27/25)

• Added APRS message function
• Supports ATAS-120A Auto Tune (FTX-1 optima)
• Displays the selected HF ANT connector number at the top of the screen
• Improved APRS Beacon reception sensitivity
• Fixed issue with GPS coordinates not being displayed correctly
• Improved NB characteristics
• Fixed issue with VOL volume not being adjustable while CW MESSAGE or VOICE MEMORY screen is displayed
• Fixed issue with SUB side receiving sound being output during SPLIT operation
• Fixed issue with SETTING MENU not being backed up to SD card properly
• Other minor fixes

Resetting the Transceiver

Note: After installing the firmware completely, the FTX-1 must be reset. Refer to the FTX-1 series Operating Manual Page 79, or the Firmware_Ver_Up_Manual_ENG_FTX-1_2506-B.

1. Turn the transceiver OFF.
2. While pressing the [BACK] and [FINE/FAST] keys simultaneously, turn the transceiver ON.
3. The frequency display will return to "144.000.000" (SUB-side) and "7.000.000" (MAIN-side).

The diagram shows the front panel of the FTX-1 transceiver. The reset procedure requires pressing the [BACK] button, typically located on the lower left side of the front panel, and the [FINE/FAST] button, usually found near the center or right side of the control area, simultaneously.

Completion and Support

This completes the firmware upgrading process. If you already have the above firmware versions, it is not necessary to update the FTX-1 again.
