ATOM Layout
Front View
The front of the ATOM controller features:
- Directional Pad (Dpad): Located on the left side, used for directional input.
- Home (CRKD) Button: A central button with the CRKD logo, used for system functions.
- Minus Button (-): Located below the Home button, used for various functions including screen capture on Switch.
- Plus Button (+): Located below the Home button, used for various functions including screen capture on Switch.
- Action Buttons (A, B, X, Y): Four primary buttons arranged in a diamond pattern on the right side.
- Status LED: Indicates connection status and other information.

Top View
The top edge of the ATOM controller features:
- Left Bumper (L): The top-left shoulder button.
- Left Trigger (ZL): The button below the Left Bumper.
- Right Trigger (ZR): The button below the Right Bumper on the right side.
- Right Bumper (R): The top-right shoulder button.
- USB-C Port: For charging and wired connections.

Back View
The back of the ATOM controller features:
- RFID Touchpoint: An area for NFC interaction with the CRKD app.
- Reset Button: A small button for resetting the device.
- Wrist Strap Attachment: A point to attach a wrist strap for security.

Setup
Connection Status
The ATOM status LED indicates the connection status:
- Slow Blinking: Search/Reconnection Mode.
- Fast Blinking: Pairing Mode.
- Solid: Connected.
Note: When the status LED is slow blinking, ATOM is in search mode. ATOM cannot enter pairing mode while in search mode. Power OFF the ATOM by pressing and holding the HOME (CRKD) button for 10 seconds before attempting to enter pairing mode.

Connecting to Nintendo Switch™
Option 1: Bluetooth® (Pro Controller)
- On your Switch, navigate to Settings > Controllers and Sensors > Change Grip/Order.
- Press and hold the Home (CRKD) Button for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. The status LED will blink fast in white.
- The ATOM will automatically connect to the Switch.
- Upon successful connection, the controller will be highlighted on the Switch (User 1/2/3/4). The ATOM's Status LED will be RED (1st player), BLUE (2nd player), Yellow (3rd player), or Green (4th player).
Option 2: Wired USB
- Dock your Switch console into its base/stand.
- Connect the ATOM controller using the USB cable.
- The controller will automatically connect to the Switch, and the Status LED will remain solid white.
- After disconnecting from the Switch, the controller will automatically revert to a Bluetooth® connection.
Connecting to PC
Option 1: Bluetooth® (Xinput Device) - RECOMMENDED
- Enable Bluetooth® on your computer (or use a Bluetooth® adapter).
- Press and hold the Up Dpad + Home (CRKD) Button for 3 seconds to enter Xinput Device pairing mode. The status LED will blink fast in orange.
- On your computer, select "Add Bluetooth® device," then select "Bluetooth®" from the dropdown.
- Look for "Xbox Wireless Controller" in the available options, select it, and wait for Windows to set up the device.

Option 2: Bluetooth® (Pro Controller)
- Enable Bluetooth® on your computer (or use a Bluetooth® adapter).
- Press and hold the Home (CRKD) Button for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. The status LED will blink fast in white.
- On your computer, select "Add Device," then select "Bluetooth®" from the dropdown.
- Select "Pro Controller" from the available device list and wait for Windows to set up the device.

Option 3: Wired USB
- Connect the controller directly to your PC via the USB connection.
Note on Xinput Mode: When connecting the ATOM as an Xinput Device, the button mappings for X/Y and A/B will be switched (Y functions as X, B functions as A, and vice versa). To switch the X/Y and A/B layout mappings, press and hold the Down Dpad + Minus Button (-) for 5 seconds. The status LED will blink and then turn solid. To revert, press and hold the Down Dpad + Minus Button (-) for 5 seconds.

Connecting to iOS / macOS
Option 1: Bluetooth® (Xinput Device) - RECOMMENDED
- Enable Bluetooth® on your iOS or macOS device.
- Press and hold the Up Dpad + Home (CRKD) Button for 3 seconds to enter Xinput Device pairing mode. The status LED will blink fast in orange.
- On your device, select "Xbox Wireless Controller" from the available device list. The ATOM will connect.

Option 2: Bluetooth® (Pro Controller)
- Enable Bluetooth® on your iOS or macOS device.
- Press and hold the Home (CRKD) Button for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. The status LED will blink fast in white.
- On your device, select "Pro Controller" from the available device list. The ATOM will connect.

Option 3: Wired USB (macOS)
- Connect the controller directly to your macOS device via the USB connection.
Connecting to Android
Option 1: Bluetooth®
- Enable Bluetooth® on your Android device.
- Press and hold the Down Dpad + Home (CRKD) Button for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. The status LED will blink CYAN.
- On your device, select "Gamepad" from the available device list and press PAIR. The ATOM will pair with your Android device.

Connecting to Multiple Devices & Switching
The ATOM can be connected to multiple devices. Follow the setup instructions for each device.
Note: ATOM cannot be connected to multiple devices using the same connection method (e.g., cannot connect to two PCs via Bluetooth simultaneously). Power OFF the ATOM before connecting it to a new device.
Switching Between Devices
If the ATOM is paired to multiple devices, you can switch between them using the following button combinations:
- Switch (Pro Controller): Press and hold Right Dpad + Home (CRKD) button.
- Xinput Device (PC / iOS / macOS): Press and hold Up Dpad + Home (CRKD) button.
- Android: Press and hold Down Dpad + Home (CRKD) button.
Note: The device the ATOM is switched to becomes the main device. Pressing the Home (CRKD) button will wake up the ATOM to the main device from an OFF status.

Special Functions
The ATOM controller offers several special functions:
- Change Dpad to Function as Left Stick: Press and hold Left Dpad + Minus Button (-) for 5 seconds. The status LED will blink and then turn solid.
- Change Dpad to Function as Right Stick: Press and hold Right Dpad + Minus Button (-) for 5 seconds. The status LED will blink and then turn solid.
- Reset Dpad Function Back to Default: Press and hold Up Dpad + Minus Button (-) for 5 seconds. The status LED will blink and then turn solid.
- Switching X/Y and A/B Mapping: When connected as an Xinput Device, X/Y and A/B mappings are swapped. To switch these mappings, press and hold Down Dpad + Minus Button (-) for 5 seconds. The status LED will blink and then turn solid. To revert, press and hold Down Dpad + Minus Button (-) for 5 seconds.
- Screen Capture: Press the Minus (-) and Plus (+) buttons simultaneously for screen capture function on Switch.
Note: Any special function settings will reset to default after any power cycle.

Play & Charge
The ATOM supports playing games while charging. Use the USB-C port to charge the controller. The Status LED will blink slowly while charging.
Note: The status LED will blink fast in red when the battery is low.

Tap and Collect
The ATOM features an RFID touchpoint. Use the CRKD app and an NFC-enabled smartphone to add the ATOM to your collection. The CRKD app provides detailed instructions and videos on how to use this feature. Scan the QR code to download the CRKD app.

This product comes with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Use and Handling
- Ensure sufficient space around you before use.
- Grip the controller firmly to prevent it from slipping.
- If using a wired connection, ensure the cable does not obstruct people or objects and avoid pulling the cable from the console.
Exterior Protection
To prevent deterioration or discoloration:
- Avoid placing rubber or vinyl materials on the product exterior for extended periods.
- Clean the product with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents or other chemicals.
Safety Precautions
- Do not handle damaged or leaking lithium-ion batteries.
- If battery material contacts eyes: Do not rub; flush immediately with clean water and seek medical attention.
- If battery material contacts skin or clothes: Rinse affected area with clean water. Consult a physician if inflammation or soreness develops.
- Avoid prolonged use. Take breaks approximately every 30 minutes.
- Stop use immediately if you experience discomfort or pain in your hands or arms. Consult a doctor if symptoms persist.
- This product is intended for use with hands only. Do not bring it into close contact with your head, face, or body.
- Never disassemble or modify the product.
- Do not expose the product to high temperatures, high humidity, or direct sunlight.
