2. Product Information
Intended Use
The product may only be used indoors together with original components for Bosch Smart Home. Observe connection conditions, ambient temperatures, and humidity limits from the technical data (→ Table 1, page 9). Avoid dust and solar radiation or heat radiation. Any other use is not according to the intended purpose. Resulting damage is excluded from liability.
Radio Operation Interference
Interference in radio operation cannot be ruled out (e.g., due to electric motors or defective electrical appliances). The radio range within buildings can deviate significantly from the radio range in free field. Besides transmission power and receiver reception characteristics, environmental factors such as humidity or structural conditions can also influence radio operation.
3. Installation in the System
For the proper operation of the device in the system, the Bosch Smart Home App is required. The app will guide you through the installation via a configuration assistant.
- Download and install the Bosch Smart Home App on your smartphone.
- Perform the configuration in the Bosch Smart Home App parallel to the product installation.
After completing the installation and configuration, you can control the product via the Bosch Smart Home App.
