Compatibility: Works with Apple HomeKit.

Installation Guide

Before starting, gather the necessary tools: a Phillips head screwdriver and pliers. You will also need the Danalock unit and its mounting components.

Step 1: Prepare the Door

Ensure the door's existing lock mechanism is in place. The Danalock V3 is designed to fit over standard door locks.

Step 2: Install the Mounting Plate

Attach the circular mounting plate to the inside of the door, aligning it with the screw holes of the existing lock mechanism. Secure it with screws.

Step 3: Prepare the Spindle

Measure the thickness of your door. The Danalock can accommodate doors up to 35 mm thick. If the existing spindle is too long, it may need to be cut to size using pliers.

Step 4: Attach the Danalock Unit

Insert the Danalock unit onto the door's lock mechanism, ensuring the spindle passes through the central opening. You should hear a "Click!" as it engages.

Step 5: Secure the Danalock

Align the Danalock unit and secure it in place. The unit will click into position.
