• How do I calibrate the Danalock V3?

  The Danalock V3 needs to be calibrated to function properly. This can be done automatically or manually via the Danalock app settings, or by using the click commands on the lock itself (e.g., 2 clicks for manual calibration, 3 clicks for auto calibration).

• What is the Auto Unlock feature?

  Auto Unlock uses GPS geofencing to detect when you are nearing your home and then uses Bluetooth to unlock the door as you approach, allowing for hands-free entry.

• Do I need 'End-to-End Operation'?

  If the thumb turn on the inside of your door does not rotate along with the key when you turn it from the outside, you generally need to enable 'End-to-End Operation' in the Danalock app settings.

• Does the Danalock V3 work with HomeKit?

  Yes, there is a specific version of the Danalock V3 designed for Apple HomeKit. Other versions support Z-Wave, Zigbee, or Bluetooth connections.

• What happens if the battery dies?

  You can still unlock your door manually from the outside using your physical key. From the inside, the twist assist or manual turn can open the lock. The app will also notify you when battery levels are low.
