Installation Steps

  1. Prepare Wall Opening: Diagram showing tools for creating a wall opening: a core drill with a Ø 115 mm bit, an angle grinder, a saw, a spray can, and a sealant gun. Measure and mark the required hole diameter (Ø 115 mm) on the wall. Use a core drill to create the opening.
  2. Adjust Angle: Diagram illustrating the adjustment of a component's angle to 1-2° using a spirit level. Ensure the duct is installed with a slight downward slope (1-2°) for drainage.
  3. Insert Duct: Diagram showing a cylindrical component being inserted into another. Insert the duct section into the wall opening.
  4. Seal Opening: Diagram showing sealant application around a component in a wall opening, with a 24-hour timer indicating curing time. Apply sealant around the duct where it meets the wall to ensure an airtight seal. Allow 24 hours for curing if specified.
  5. Install Outer Grille: Diagram showing the outer grille being aligned vertically with a spirit level and pencil marks. Includes safety warning (⚠️) and angle indicator (0°). A list of optional part numbers is provided: 1002-0034, 1002-0046, 1508-0207, 1508-0208, 1508-0209, 1508-0210. Align the outer grille with the wall opening using a spirit level to ensure it is vertical (0°). Diagram showing a pilot hole being drilled with a Ø 6 mm bit, at a distance of 50 mm. Drill pilot holes (Ø 6 mm) as indicated, approximately 50 mm from the edge. Diagram showing the outer grille being attached to the wall opening and sealant being applied from the inside. Apply sealant to the back of the outer grille or around the opening. Diagram showing the outer grille being secured with screws. Secure the outer grille to the wall using screws.
  6. Install Inner Component: Diagram illustrating the attachment of the inner component with a locking mechanism. Insert the inner component into the duct from the inside. Diagram showing the inner part being slid into place, with a warning symbol (⚠️). Ensure it is correctly oriented and fits snugly. Diagram showing the final attachment of the inner part. Attach the inner component, ensuring it locks or clips into place securely.
  7. Final Check: Verify all components are securely attached and the installation is complete.
