The dual sponge design provides a larger surface area for beneficial bacteria, promoting clear aquarium water and removing odors. 5. Method of Application

1. Insert the air tube into the filter's hole. Connect the other end to an air pump suitable for 4mm/0.16" (inner diameter) air tubing.
2. Submerge the product completely in water. Squeeze the sponge repeatedly to ensure all air is expelled. Once the sponge is saturated, the filter will sink to the bottom of the aquarium.
3. Connect the product to an air pump. It is recommended to use a check valve on the air pipe to prevent water backflow into the air pump.
4. When cleaning the filter cotton, use aquarium water to preserve beneficial bacteria.

6. Warning

• Do not use tap water or hot water to clean the biochemical sponge filter.
• Clean the filter using tank water.
• Ensure the sponge filter is placed vertically in the tank.
• Clean the filter with tank water every 2-4 weeks.
• It is recommended to replace the sponge and ceramic pearls every 5-6 months.

7. AQQA Limited Manufacturer's Warranty

AQQA offers a 3-year manufacturer's warranty from the date of sale for products purchased from an AQQA®-authorised specialist dealer. Retain your receipt for any future warranty claims. Products are guaranteed by AQQA® Aquatic Supplies against defective material and workmanship under normal use for up to 3 years from the original purchase date through an Authorized Dealer. Refer to the included User Manual for specific warranty details.

Products have no warranty if:

1. The product has been serviced, modified, or tampered with by anyone other than AQQA® Aquatic Supplies.
2. The product has been abused or damaged (including broken or cracked bulbs).
3. The product was transported without proper packaging.
4. The product was purchased from an Unauthorized Reseller.

Warranty Liability Disclaimer

AQQA® shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental damages, including but not limited to, lost aquatic life, personal injury, property damage, equipment damage, lost profits, lost wages, lost savings, or lost income, arising from the use of any AQQA® products.

1.0. Terms and Conditions of Warranty

• AQQA® warrants to the purchaser, for 3 years from the date of original purchase through an Authorized AQQA® Reseller, to repair or replace parts where faults are found due to defective materials or faulty workmanship, and where goods do not operate in accordance with the instructions.
• All claims for repair or replacement must be made at the place of purchase.
• Only the direct purchaser is entitled to warranty claims; these are not transferable without AQQA®'s consent.
• The original and dated Proof of Purchase (receipt) must be supplied with all claims.
• Wear parts (e.g., seals, suction devices, axes, pump wheels, light sources, pH electrodes, filter media, filter cartridges, UVC burners), glass damage, product opening, structural changes, or the use of non-AQQA® original parts are excluded from the guarantee.
• All goods subject to a claim under Guarantee should be prepared for transportation in the original or comparable packaging offering the same degree of protection, with AQQA® incurring no costs for shipment.
• In cases where inspection reveals goods are in normal working order, AQQA® may request reimbursement of reasonable costs incurred.
• Warranty claims do not apply in cases of insignificant deviations from the agreed or customary condition or usability, such as minor variations in color, dimensions, quality, or performance characteristics.
• AQQA®'s warranty obligation extends only to the delivery of newly manufactured products. Unless otherwise agreed, used products are sold as seen, excluding any warranty.
