This document provides instructions for the Omron RS7 Intelli IT automatic wrist blood pressure monitor (Model HEM-6232T-E). Please read this manual carefully before using the device to ensure safe and effective operation.

Device Overview
The Omron RS7 Intelli IT monitor is an automatic blood pressure monitor that uses the oscillometric method. It features a clear digital display, memory function, and Bluetooth connectivity for data transfer to a smartphone.
Device Components:
- A: Cuff: Wraps around the wrist.
- B: Cuff Tube: Connects the cuff to the monitor.
- C: Display: Shows measurement results and status indicators.
- D: START/STOP Button: Initiates or stops a measurement.
- E: MEMORY Button: Recalls stored measurements.
- F: BLUETOOTH Indicator: Shows Bluetooth connection status.
- G: Irregular Pulse Indicator: Appears when an irregular pulse is detected.
- H: Cuff Wrap Guide Indicator: Indicates if the cuff is wrapped correctly.
- I: Movement Error Indicator: Appears if body movement interferes with the reading.
- J: Battery Indicator: Shows battery status.
- K: Memory Indicator: Appears when measurements are stored.
- L: Pulse Rate: Displays the pulse rate.
- M: Systolic/Diastolic Pressure: Displays blood pressure readings.
Display Indicators:
- ? [Bluetooth Symbol]: Indicates Bluetooth connection status.
- ? [Irregular Pulse Symbol]: Appears when an irregular pulse (more than 25% difference in pulse rate) is detected during measurement. Consult your physician if this symbol appears frequently.
- ?️ [Cuff Wrap Guide Symbol]: Indicates that the cuff is not wrapped correctly. Re-wrap the cuff for an accurate measurement.
- ? [Movement Error Symbol]: Appears if body movement during measurement causes an error. Remain still during measurement.
- ? [Battery Symbol]: Indicates low battery. Replace batteries soon.
- ? [Memory Symbol]: Appears when measurements are stored in memory.
Getting Started
Setting Date and Time
Correct date and time are essential for accurate memory recall. Follow these steps:
- Ensure the monitor is off.
- Press and hold the MEMORY button (E) for approximately 5 seconds until the year display flashes.
- Press the START/STOP button (D) to advance the year. Press the MEMORY button (E) to confirm and move to the month.
- Repeat step 3 for month, day, hour, and minute.
- After setting the minute, press the MEMORY button (E) to save and exit.
Setting User Profile
This monitor can be used by two users. Select your user profile before taking a measurement.
- Press and hold the MEMORY button (E) for approximately 10 seconds until the user indicator (1 or 2) flashes.
- Press the START/STOP button (D) to select User 1 or User 2.
- Press the MEMORY button (E) to confirm your selection. The monitor will then be ready for measurement.
Taking a Measurement
Applying the Cuff
- Ensure the monitor is off.
- Wrap the cuff around your left wrist, about 1-2 cm from the base of your palm.
- The display should be on the palm side of your wrist.
- Fasten the cuff securely but not too tightly. It should fit snugly, allowing one finger to slide under the cuff.
- Ensure the cuff is positioned correctly on your wrist. The cuff wrap guide indicator (H) will show if it is correctly positioned.
Taking a Measurement
- Sit comfortably with your back supported and your feet flat on the floor.
- Rest your arm on a table so that the cuff is at heart level.
- Press the START/STOP button (D). The cuff will automatically inflate.
- Remain still and do not talk during the measurement.
- The cuff will deflate automatically when the measurement is complete.
- The systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will be displayed.
- Press the START/STOP button (D) again to turn off the monitor.
Understanding Measurement Results
The display shows systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate. The monitor also indicates if an irregular pulse, cuff wrap error, or movement error occurred.
Memory and Data Management
Storing Measurements
Measurements are automatically stored in memory when taken correctly. The memory indicator (K) will appear on the display.
Recalling Measurements
Press the MEMORY button (E) to recall previous measurements. The monitor will display the latest reading first, followed by older readings sequentially.
Deleting Measurements
To delete all stored measurements, press and hold the MEMORY button (E) for about 15 seconds until the memory indicator (K) disappears.
Bluetooth Connectivity
Connecting to a Smartphone
The Omron RS7 Intelli IT can connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth to sync your measurement data with the Omron connect app.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
- Download and install the Omron connect app from your smartphone's app store.
- Open the Omron connect app and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account and pair your monitor.
- Ensure the monitor is turned off. Press and hold the START/STOP button (D) for approximately 8 seconds until the Bluetooth indicator (F) starts flashing rapidly.
- Follow the app's instructions to complete the pairing process. The Bluetooth indicator (F) will remain lit when successfully connected.

Troubleshooting and Maintenance
Error Codes:
- E1: Cuff Wrap Error - Cuff is not wrapped correctly. Re-wrap the cuff.
- E2: Movement Error - Body movement during measurement. Remain still.
- E3: Excess Inflation Pressure - Cuff pressure is too high.
- E4: Irregular Pulse Detected - Pulse rate variation is too high. Consult physician.
- E5: Pulse Error - Pulse rate is too low or too high.
- E6: Bluetooth Communication Error - Error during data transfer. Check Bluetooth settings.
- E7: Memory Full - Memory is full. Delete old data.
- E8: Cuff Deflation Error - Cuff did not deflate properly.
- E9: System Error - Internal system error. Contact customer support.
- Er: Battery Low - Replace batteries.
Maintenance and Care:
- Clean the monitor with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Store the monitor in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period.
