1. Initial Setup
1. Remove the initial support feet.

It is recommended to remove the two initial support feet near the muffler when moving the generator on uneven terrain. Skip this step if not necessary.
Place a wooden block or rubber block of the same height as the support feet under the generator to prevent it from tilting backward when removing the support feet.

2. Overview
2.1 Generator

2.2 Control Panel
1. Engine Switch: Used to start or stop the generator.
2. USB-C Port: Connect the remote controller to update firmware and export logs.
3. AC Outlet*: The outlet complies with IP44 protection rating. Ensure the outlet cover is reinstalled and tightened when not in use.
4. Ground Terminal: Use the ground cable to connect the ground terminal and the ground. Proper grounding can help prevent electric shock in case of a malfunction.
* The rated AC output varies by country and region. Consult official support or an authorized dealer for details. The AC power frequency can be configured to 50 Hz or 60 Hz in the app. To ensure the safe operation of electrical equipment and prevent potential damage, select the appropriate frequency according to the frequency requirements of the electrical equipment.
2.3 Status LEDs
1. Charging Channel Status LED
- Solid Yellow: Battery connected and ready to charge.
- Flashing Green (repeats): Charging.
- Solid Green: Fully charged.
- Flashing Yellow (repeats): Warning for battery/charging channel.
- Flashing Red (repeats): Battery/charging channel error.
2. AC Module Status LED
- Solid Yellow: AC module is ready for use.
- Flashing Green (repeats): AC module is in use.
- Flashing Yellow (repeats): Warning for AC module.
- Flashing Red (repeats): AC module error.
3. Generator Status LED
- Flashing Yellow (four times, repeats): Generator not activated.
- Flashing Yellow (repeats): Generator warning.
- Flashing Red (repeats): Generator error.
- Flashing Red (four times, repeats): Generator requires maintenance.
If any status LED flashes an error, warning, or maintenance reminder, connect the remote controller to the product to check for details.
If any component of the product shows abnormal signs or damage, contact official support or an authorized dealer for repair or replacement.
3. Getting Started
3.1 Engine Oil Filling
The engine is not filled with engine oil at the factory. Add SJ 10W-40 engine oil (or equivalent) before use.
Place the generator on a flat and stable surface, remove the oil dipstick, fill the engine with oil to the rated capacity, and screw the oil dipstick back in.
3.2 Refueling
DO NOT turn on the generator before filling with engine oil or gasoline. Failure to comply may damage the electronic fuel pump.
DO NOT overfill with fuel. Spillage may lead to fire or explosion.
Fuel is highly flammable and explosive. Strictly follow the usage instructions. Before refueling the generator, turn off the power and wait until the unit has cooled down completely.
- Loosen the fuel tank cap and refuel the fuel tank with the recommended fuel to the rated capacity marked by the oil level indicator.
- Tighten the fuel tank cap after refueling. Use a dry cloth to wipe away any spilled fuel.
* Recommended fuel is unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 91 RON and an ethanol content of less than 10% by volume. If using the generator in Brazil, the recommended fuel is unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 91 RON and an ethanol content of 27% by volume.
4. Pre-Operation Checks
Check the generator's condition before each operation. Ensure the generator is placed on a stable, level surface and the engine switch is in the OFF position.
4.1 Routine Checks
- Check for any engine oil or fuel leaks around or under the generator.
- Remove any flammable materials from the surrounding area, especially around the muffler and fan.
- Repair or replace any parts that are rusted, broken, damaged, deformed, or loose.
- Ensure the muffler guard and fan cover are securely installed and all nuts, bolts, and screws are tightened.
4.2 Important Checks
- Fuel Level: Refuel the fuel tank before operation to minimize the risk of interrupted operation due to low fuel levels.
- Engine Oil Level: Operating with low engine oil can damage the engine. The built-in low oil sensor will stop the engine if the engine oil level drops below the safe level. Check the engine oil level before each operation to avoid unexpected shutdowns.
- Air Filter Foam Element: A dirty foam element restricts airflow to the electronic fuel injector, reducing generator performance.
5. Using the Generator
5.1 Activation and Software Update
The product must be activated before first use. After connecting the remote controller to the product, run the DJI Agras app on the remote controller and tap Device Management > Charger to activate the product. Follow the on-screen instructions to update the system software when new system software is available.
5.2 Starting the Generator
If the generator fails to start, connect to the remote controller for more information.
If any electrical equipment is connected to the AC outlet while charging the battery, the battery's charging capability will be reduced, and the charging time will be extended.
- DO NOT connect any electrical equipment before starting the generator.
- Ensure the engine has been filled with engine oil and the fuel tank contains no more than 1L of fuel.
- Connect the charging cable to the turned-off intelligent flight battery. Press and hold the power button on the battery to start it.
- Turn the engine switch to the START position, hold for at least 3 seconds, then release. The engine switch will return to the ON position, and the generator will start automatically.
- The generator starts charging the battery.
5.3 Stopping the Generator
- Turn off all connected electrical equipment.
- Turn the engine switch to the OFF position, and the generator will stop.
5.4 Smart Battery Power for Outdoor Use
No need to start the generator.
- Connect the generator's charging cable to the intelligent flight battery. Press and hold the power button on the battery to start it.
- Turn the generator's engine switch to the START position three times consecutively, and the generator's AC outlet will supply AC power.
- Connect electrical equipment to the generator's AC outlet.
6. Storage
Follow the steps below to store the generator if it will not be used for more than 30 days.
- Before storage, start the generator and let it run for five to ten minutes to warm up. Then, stop the generator to drain the engine oil.
- Remove the engine oil drain hose, unscrew the cap counterclockwise, and drain the engine oil.
- To avoid burns, DO NOT touch the hot engine oil.
- Reinstall the engine oil drain hose and screw the cap clockwise to tighten.
- Remove the fuel drain bolt at the bottom of the fuel tank, use a funnel to drain the fuel, and store the fuel in a dedicated container to prevent sediment buildup. Reinstall the fuel drain bolt after all fuel has been drained. Clean the funnel and wipe it dry with a cloth before storage.
- Remove the fixing screws for the high-pressure oil hose. Remove the hose and drain any remaining fuel inside. Reinstall the hose in its original position.
- Store the generator in a cool, dry, and clean place.
7. Transportation
To avoid burns or igniting flammable materials, if the generator is running, wait at least 15 minutes for it to cool down before loading it onto a transport vehicle. Ensure the generator is stable during transportation to prevent spills.
8. Maintenance
Scan the QR code on the fuel tank to watch a tutorial video or refer to the labels and stickers on the generator for maintenance instructions. Inspect and maintain the generator regularly to keep it in good condition.
8.1 Maintenance Safety Precautions
- Before maintenance, stop the generator, disconnect all electrical equipment and batteries, and let the generator cool down completely.
- Perform maintenance in a clean, dry, and stable environment. Ensure the generator cannot be accidentally moved.
- Read the user manual before operation and ensure you have all the necessary tools and skills.
- Exercise extreme caution when using the generator near fuel to minimize the risk of fire and explosion. Use non-flammable solvents for cleaning parts. DO NOT use fuel for cleaning. Keep fuel-containing parts away from cigarette butts, sparks, and open flames.
8.2 Maintenance Schedule
Follow the maintenance schedule in the table below. Maintenance frequency should be increased if the generator is operated in a dusty or otherwise harsh environment.

H refers to operating hours.
The maintenance interval of 300 operating hours/1 year means that the user should perform maintenance based on whichever occurs first.
After every 300 operating hours, contact official support or an authorized dealer to check and clean the fuel injector filter, drain fuel from the high-pressure oil hose and fuel pump, and tighten the cylinder head bolts to a torque of 55-60 N·m.
Engine oil consumption increases in high-temperature environments. Fill the engine oil to the rated level before each use and shorten the engine oil replacement interval.
8.3 Check Engine Oil Level
- Stop the generator and place it on a level surface. If the generator was recently operated, wait at least 15 minutes for it to cool down.
- Remove the oil dipstick and wipe it clean with a clean cloth.
- Insert the oil dipstick into the filler neck without screwing it in. Remove the dipstick and check the oil level. DO NOT invert the dipstick.
- Add the recommended engine oil to the upper limit mark if the oil level is near or below the lower limit mark.
- Reinstall the oil dipstick and tighten it.
8.4 Change Engine Oil
Generator damage due to the following reasons will not be covered by warranty: running with low engine oil; failure to change engine oil according to the maintenance schedule; using non-recommended engine oil.
- Place the generator on a level surface. Start the generator to warm up the engine for a few minutes, then stop the generator.
- Place a container under the engine oil drain hose.
- Remove the engine oil drain hose and unscrew the cap counterclockwise to open it. Wait for the oil to drain completely.
- Reinstall and secure the engine oil drain hose in place. Turn the cap clockwise to tighten.
- Remove the oil dipstick and use the engine oil funnel to add engine oil to the upper limit. Reinstall the oil dipstick and tighten it.
Contact official support or an authorized dealer to change the engine oil.
Engine oil significantly affects engine performance and is a key factor in determining engine lifespan. It is recommended to use four-stroke engine oil that meets or exceeds the SJ classification according to the API. The API classification is usually indicated on the engine oil bottle's packaging. Ensure the packaging indicates SJ or a higher classification. The recommended engine oil is SJ 10W-40.
To avoid environmental harm, seal used engine oil in a container and deliver it to a specialized recycling center. DO NOT dispose of used engine oil in household waste, on the ground, or in drains.
8.5 Air Filter Cleaning and Inspection
- Remove the air filter cover and take out the foam element. Clean the foam element thoroughly with regular detergent or warm water and let it dry in the sun. Clean the dust from the filter housing and use carburetor cleaner to remove engine oil from the cover, then wipe it dry.
- Check if the paper filter element's surface is wet with engine oil. If the paper filter element is wet with engine oil, contact official support or an authorized dealer to replace the paper filter element. If the paper filter element does not need replacement, tap it lightly to remove dust. Clean the dust from the filter housing and use carburetor cleaner to remove engine oil from the cover, then wipe it dry.
- Install the paper filter element and foam element into the air filter, then reinstall the cover in its original position.
Replace the foam filter element if it is damaged during cleaning.
DO NOT use an air blower or compressed air to clean the paper filter element, as this may damage the air intake holes of the filter element.
Ensure all air filter elements and covers are reinstalled in their original positions.
8.6 Spark Arrester Cleaning
- Use a screwdriver to remove the screws and cover. Remove the spark arrester.
- Inspect the spark arrester. Wash it with carburetor cleaner and remove carbon deposits with a wire brush. Replace the spark arrester if it is damaged.
- Install the cleaned or new spark arrester and tighten the screws.
8.7 Spark Plug Service, Cleaning, and Replacement
- Stop the generator and ensure it has cooled down completely.
- Loosen the spark plug using a dedicated spark plug socket and inspect the spark plug. Replace the spark plug immediately if the insulator or sealing washer is damaged.
- Remove carbon deposits or other buildup using a stiff wire brush.
- Adjust the electrode to ensure the gap is within the standard range of 0.6 to 0.8 mm.
- When reinstalling the spark plug, thread it into the engine by hand for two to three turns.
- Tighten it further with the dedicated spark plug socket.
Contact official support or an authorized dealer for spark plug maintenance.
The recommended torque is 20-25 N·m. A loose spark plug can cause the engine to overheat, while over-tightening can damage the engine's threads.
The original spark plug model is F6RTC. Using the wrong spark plug model will damage the engine.
To ensure proper engine operation, make sure the spark plug gap is correct and free of deposits.
