Ultraviolet Water Disinfection Systems
The quality of drinking water can change over time and become contaminated with harmful bacteria. The VIQUA HOME family of compact UV disinfection systems offers a reliable, economical, and chemical-free method to safeguard drinking water in any residential application. VIQUA products are designed and tested to ensure quality drinking water is readily available.
VIQUA systems are available to suit various requirements, with flow rates ranging from 5 GPM for small homes or cottages up to 18 GPM for larger homes or small businesses.
A diagram illustrates a typical water installation setup for a VIQUA UV system. It shows the main water line flowing through a water meter, an optional water softener, an optional bypass assembly, a 5-micron sediment filter, an optional carbon filter, and then into the VIQUA UV system chamber. The system includes shut-off valves before and after the filters and UV chamber. An optional temperature management valve and solenoid valve are also shown, along with a customer-supplied GFI circuit to match voltage. Connections for hot and cold water pipes are indicated.
