CO₂ Monitoring

The LCD screen displays the current power mode and the real-time CO₂ level in the room.

CO₂ Level Indicators:

Visual Description: Three examples of the purifier's LCD screen are shown. The first displays green numbers for a safe CO₂ level (e.g., 900 ppm). The second displays yellow numbers for a medium CO₂ level (e.g., 1420 ppm), with a note recommending ventilation. The third displays red numbers for a high CO₂ level (e.g., 1530 ppm), also recommending ventilation.

Changing Your HEPA Filter

To remove the conic amplifier: Slide the release button on the back of the conic amplifier to unlock it, then lift the conic amplifier off the machine. Lift the outer cover off the base.

To remove the filter: The HEPA filter is located within the outer cover. Press the filter release buttons on the inner rim and lift the outer cover off the filter. Dispose of the old filter.

To install a new filter: Remove your replacement filter from its packaging. Place the new filter onto the base of your machine. Position the outer cover over the filter and press down until it clicks securely. Place the conic amplifier back onto the machine and rotate until it clicks securely in position. Plug in and press the power button.

Diagram Description: The process of changing the HEPA filter is illustrated. It shows unlocking the conic amplifier with a release switch (indicated by a sideways green arrow), lifting outer covers (upward green arrows), releasing the filter from the outer cover using specific release buttons, and reassembling by placing the filter, outer cover, and conic amplifier, ensuring a secure lock with a click.

Changing Your Carbon Filter

To remove the conic amplifier: Slide the release button on the back of the conic amplifier to unlock it, then lift the conic amplifier off the machine. Lift the outer cover off the base.

To remove the filter: The carbon filter is wrapped around the central body of the machine. Pull each of the four clips towards you to release the filter. Dispose of the old filter.

To install a new filter: Remove your replacement filter from its packaging. Place the filter onto the base of your machine. Wrap the filter around the central body, fitting the clips into position and pushing each one to secure it. Place the outer cover back onto the base of your machine. Place the conic amplifier on your machine and twist until it clicks securely in position. Plug in and press the power button.

Diagram Description: The diagrams illustrate the carbon filter replacement. This includes removing the conic amplifier and outer cover. The carbon filter is shown wrapped around the central body and secured by four clips, which should be pulled to release it. Reassembly involves placing the new filter, securing it with clips, replacing the outer cover, and reattaching the conic amplifier until it clicks.

Looking After Your Machine

To ensure optimal performance from your Dyson air purifier, it is important to regularly clean it and check for blockages.

Cleaning Your Machine

If your machine is dusty, wipe it with a damp, lint-free cloth. Check the sensor inlets on the left-hand side of the conic amplifier for dust and debris. Also, check the outer cover and the conic amplifier for dust and debris. Use a soft brush to remove any dust or debris. Do not use detergents or polishes to clean your machine.

Diagram Description: An illustration shows a hand cleaning the top of the purifier with a damp, lint-free cloth. Another illustration highlights specific areas on the conic amplifier and outer cover with eye icons, indicating where to check for dust and debris. A hand is shown using a soft brush on these highlighted areas.
