About This Manual

This manual provides information for operating the watch. Sample displays use dark figures on a light background. Button operations are indicated by letters. Each section covers operations for each mode, with further details in the "Reference" section.

General Guide

Use the A button to change modes. Use the B button to illuminate the display. Hold down the A button for about one second to return to the Timekeeping Mode.

Mode Navigation:

Timekeeping

The Timekeeping Mode allows setting and viewing the current time and date.

To set the time and date:

  1. In Timekeeping Mode, hold down A until seconds flash.
  2. Press C to move the flashing to select seconds, hour, minutes, day, month, or year.
  3. Press D to increase the selected setting. Seconds reset to 00 when pressing D if they are between 30 and 59, and the minutes increment by 1.
  4. Press A to exit the setting screen. The day of the week is automatically set based on the date. The year can be set from 2000 to 2099. The full automatic calendar adjusts for month lengths and leap years.

To toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour timekeeping:

In Timekeeping Mode, press C to switch between 12-hour (P indicator for PM) and 24-hour formats.

Alarms

The watch features up to five multi-function alarms (1-5) with hour, minute, month, and day settings. Alarm 1 includes a snooze feature. An Hourly Time Signal can also be activated.

Alarm Types:

To set an alarm time:

  1. In Alarm Mode, use C to select the alarm screen (1-5 or :00 for Hourly Time Signal).
  2. Hold down A until the hour setting flashes to enter the setting screen. This automatically turns on the alarm.
  3. Press C to move the flashing between hour, minute, month, and day.
  4. Press D to increase the setting.
  5. For Daily or Monthly alarms without a specific month or day, set the month to '-' and the day to '--'.
  6. When setting the alarm time in 12-hour format, ensure the correct P (PM) indicator is set.
  7. Press A to exit the setting screen.

Alarm Operation:

The alarm tone sounds for 10 seconds. The snooze alarm repeats every five minutes up to seven times. Press any button to stop the alarm. Certain operations (like entering setting screens) will also cancel the snooze operation.

To test the alarm:

In Alarm Mode, hold down D to sound the alarm.

To turn Alarms 2 through 5 and the Hourly Time Signal on and off:

  1. In Alarm Mode, use C to select the desired alarm (2-5) or the Hourly Time Signal (:00).
  2. Press A to toggle the alarm/signal on or off. On/off indicators are displayed in all modes.

To select the operation of Alarm 1:

  1. In Alarm Mode, use C to select Alarm 1.
  2. Press A to cycle through settings: Alarm off, Alarm on, Snooze alarm on. Indicators (AL1, SNZ) are displayed in all modes. The SNZ indicator flashes during snooze intervals.

Countdown Timer

The countdown timer can be set from 1 minute to 24 hours. An alarm sounds when the countdown reaches zero. Auto-repeat can be enabled to restart the countdown automatically.

To use the countdown timer:

Press C in the Countdown Timer Mode to start. Press C to pause, and D to resume. Press A (after pausing with C) to reset to the start time.

To set the countdown start time:

  1. In Countdown Timer Mode, hold down A until the hours setting flashes.
  2. Press C to switch between hours and minutes.
  3. Press D to increase the setting. Set to 0:00 for a 24-hour countdown.
  4. Press A to exit.

To turn auto-repeat on and off:

  1. In Countdown Timer Mode, hold down A until the hours setting flashes.
  2. Press B to toggle auto-repeat on (A.RPT displayed) or off. Note: Pressing B also turns on the backlight.
  3. When auto-repeat is on, the alarm sounds, and the timer restarts automatically when zero is reached. Press C to pause and A to reset.

Stopwatch

The stopwatch measures elapsed time, split times, and two finishes. The measurement unit is 1/100 of a second, with a capacity of 23 hours, 59 minutes, 59.99 seconds. The stopwatch continues running even when other modes are selected.

To measure times with the stopwatch:

Dual Time

The Dual Time Mode allows tracking of time in a different time zone. The seconds count is synchronized with the Timekeeping Mode.

To set the Dual Time:

  1. Press C to enter Dual Time Mode.
  2. Hold down A until the hour setting flashes.
  3. Press C to switch between hour and minute settings.
  4. Press D to increase the setting.
  5. Press A to exit.

Backlight

The backlight uses an LED and light guide panel to illuminate the entire display.

To turn on the backlight:

In any mode, press B to illuminate the display for about one second.

Auto return features:

If no operation is performed for two to three minutes while a setting screen is displayed, the watch automatically saves settings and exits the screen.

Data and Setting Scrolling:

The C button scrolls through setting screen data. Holding C during scrolling accelerates the process.
