Smart WiFi LED Dimmer
User Guide
Introduction to Shelly®
The Shelly® smart WiFi dimmer by Allterco Robotics is designed for direct installation behind light switches or in standard in-wall consoles. It allows remote control and dimming of lights via WiFi, functioning as a standalone device or with a home automation system.
Note: The Shelly Dimmer is intended for lighting control only. ⚠️ CAUTION: Do not connect the Shelly Dimmer to fans. Doing so may cause damage to the unit or fan, potentially leading to fire.
LEGEND
- I2: Switch input 2 for on/off/dimming
- I1: Switch input 1 for on/off/dimming
- O: Output
- L: Line input (110-240V AC)
- N: Neutral input (Zero)
Installation Instructions
Safety First: Installation must be performed by a qualified person (electrician). Ensure the power grid is turned off (breakers down) before proceeding. ⚠️ CAUTION: Danger of electrocution. Mount the device with caution.
Wiring Diagrams:
- Single Switch: Shows connections for Line (L) and Neutral (N) power inputs, Switch inputs (I1, I2), and the Output (O) to the light.
- Double Switch: Similar to single switch, indicating connections for two separate switch inputs.
- 3-Way Switch: Illustrates wiring for a 3-way switch configuration, allowing control from multiple locations.
- Momentary Switch: Depicts connections for a momentary switch setup.
Initial Inclusion: After wiring, Shelly creates its own WiFi Access Point (AP) network (e.g., 'shellydimmer-XXXXXX'). Connect your device (phone, tablet, PC) to this network. Access the web interface by typing 192.168.33.1
in your browser.
Resetting the Device: If the AP network is not found, power cycle the device. Within 60 seconds, press the switch connected to I1/I2 five times consecutively, or hold the reset button for 10 seconds until the LED flashes quickly. If issues persist, contact support@shelly.cloud.
