Usage Precautions

The laser engraving machine uses a high-density laser beam to irradiate the material, causing the material surface to generate high temperatures, aiming to gasify the material without combustion. However, most materials are inherently flammable and may ignite, leading to open flames that could damage the machine and its surroundings.

Please follow these operating principles:

  1. Do not place the machine near flammable or explosive items, volatile solvents, or heat sources. Store it in a well-ventilated, cool, and dust-free environment.
  2. During installation, use only the attached power cord. Do not substitute it with other power cords.
  3. When the power is off, regularly clean the machine body and laser module with a dry cloth.
  4. The laser operates within a temperature range of 0°C-35°C. Operation at sub-zero temperatures is prohibited. Avoid using the machine in wet environments or during thunderstorms.
  5. If the machine is not used for a long time, turn it off and unplug the power cord.
  6. When the machine is connected to power, do not touch electronic areas with your hands or other tools.
  7. While the machine is running, do not touch any moving parts or the laser module.
  8. Before engraving, place a flat object that the laser cannot penetrate, such as an aluminum alloy or stainless steel plate, on the workbench, and then place the material to be processed.
  9. Wear goggles to prevent vision damage from exposure to the laser spot during laser engraving.
  10. Laser engraving may produce a small amount of smoke or odor. It is recommended to operate in a well-ventilated area.
  11. Children under 10 years old should not use this product without adult supervision to prevent personal injury.
  12. Keep fire extinguishers ready and maintain them regularly. Never leave the machine unattended while it is running.
  13. Users must comply with the laws and regulations of the country and region where the equipment is located, abide by professional ethics, pay attention to safety obligations, and strictly prohibit the use of our products or equipment for any illegal purposes. Creality will not be responsible for any violator's legal liability under any circumstance.

Assembly Directions

  1. Assemble Left Y-axis Assembly: Pass the left Y-axis assembly (with the belt up) through the X-axis assembly and put on the belt in the direction shown in the figure. Tighten the belt, and insert two T-shaped nuts into the left Y-axis assembly. Then lock the belt with hexagon screw.
  2. Assemble Right Y-axis Assembly: The method is the same as above.
  3. Assemble X-axis Profiles: Assemble the rear X-axis profile and front X-axis profile. Lock with eight M5*20 screws.
  4. Assemble Tripods and Control Box: Assemble three tripods and the control box assembly. Lock with eight screws.
  5. Assemble Laser Module: Assemble the laser module into the fixing plate. The fixed focus bar should naturally be vertical downwards and contact the surface of the material to be engraved. Finally, lock it with the hand screws on the right and turn the fixed focus bar clockwise until it is attracted by the magnet. Finally, plug in the laser module cord.

Software Installation and Usage Guide

The TF card included with the package contains the download link for Lightburn software and a usage guide. Please insert the TF card into a card reader, connect it to your computer's USB port, and open the TF card to access the relevant usage tutorials.

Start Engraving

  1. Power On: Insert the TF card with G-code into the machine before powering on. Insert one side of the power adapter into a power socket that can be remotely switched on, and the other side into the power connector on the left side of the control box. Lastly, turn on the red power switch on the left side of the control box.

After the power is turned on, the machine emits a "beep" with the indicator light always on, and the machine initializes. After initialization is complete, it enters standby mode and emits "beep... beep", and the indicator light turns into a breathing light effect.

  1. Preview Mode: Press the microswitch. The machine enters preview mode from standby mode. The laser head will emit a weak light and move repeatedly around the edges of the processed picture. The indicator light remains on. At this time, you can adjust the material to a suitable position.
  2. Engraving Mode: In preview mode, press the microswitch again. The machine enters engraving mode. The laser head will emit strong light, and the machine will start engraving. The indicator light remains on.
  3. Pause Engraving: Press the microswitch (or click "Pause" in the software). The indicator light will turn into a breathing light effect. Press the microswitch again to continue engraving.
  4. Cancel Engraving: Press and hold the microswitch for 3 seconds (or click "Cancel" in the software). The machine will emit a "beep" once, start resetting, and emit "beep... beep" twice after reset is completed, entering standby mode with the indicator light turning into a breathing light effect.
  5. Engraving Complete: After engraving is completed, the machine will emit "beep" three times, then reset. After reset is completed, it will emit "beep... beep" twice, entering standby mode, and the indicator light will turn into a breathing light effect.
