Integrated Sensor Layout

For runs longer than 8FT, always order by TOTAL RUN LENGTH. Individual section ordering may not provide correct joining hardware.

Diagram Descriptions:

Notes on Sensor Zones:

Occupancy Detection Coverage

At a 7.5 ft (2.9 m) hanging height, the sensor provides 10 ft (3.05 m) radial detection of small motion. At a 9 ft (2.74 m) hanging height, the radius is 12 ft (3.66 m) for small motion.

Coverage is adequate for walking motion detection from mounting heights between 7.5 ft (2.29 m) and 20 ft (6.10 m).

Initial detection occurs earlier when walking across the sensor's field of view than when walking directly at it.

Initial detection of walking motion into a long coverage segment occurs at distances of 2x mounting height (up to 15 ft) and 1.75x (up to 20 ft). The lens assembly rotates 15° for adjustment.

Diagram Description: A radial chart illustrating detection distances in feet and meters relative to mounting height, showing coverage increasing with height.

Integrated Controls

Optional nLight® integrated controls make Slot LED luminaires addressable, enabling digital communication with other nLight enabled controls like dimmers, switches, occupancy sensors, and photocontrols. Connection is made using standard CAT5 cabling.

nLight Air Wireless Antenna Location

Diagram Description: Shows the location for attaching the nLight Air wireless antenna to the coax connector. The antenna is shipped separately.

Emergency Options

Emergency Battery Packs

The PS1055LCP battery is integral to the fixture and includes a test switch and self-diagnostics. Only the direct light portion operates on emergency power. Battery packs cannot be placed in connectors.

Available options include E10WLCP/R and Multiple E10WLCP.

Diagram Descriptions: Visual representations showing the distribution of emergency power (0% or 100%) across the fixture length for E10WLCP and Multiple E10WLCP configurations. The default location for E10WLCP is the last 3' or 4' section.

Emergency Circuits

Options include EC (Emergency Circuit), WEC (Whole Run on Emergency Circuit), and Multiple EC.

Diagram Descriptions: Visual representations showing the distribution of emergency power (0% or 100%) across the fixture length for EC, Multiple EC, and WEC configurations. WEC diagrams show full fixture coverage for both standard and nLight/nLight AIR enabled fixtures.

How to Estimate Delivered Lumens in Emergency Mode

Use the formula: Delivered Lumens = 1.25 x P x LPW, where P = 10W (for PS1055LCP) and LPW is the luminaire's lumen per watt rating.

A table lists section lengths (U2-U8) and their corresponding emergency power configurations (None, Entire unit, Last 3', Last 4').

Remote GTD Mounting Option

The Generator Transfer Device (GTD) is typically recessed in the ceiling. Consult factory for other ceiling types or canopy options. A 6-foot flexible conduit is included, and the GTD should be mounted within 6 feet of the junction box above the fixture.

Diagram Description: Illustrates the GTD unit mounted in an accessible ceiling, connected to the fixture via conduit and junction box.

Specifications

Note: Actual performance may vary based on end-user environment and application. Values are typical, measured at 25°C. Specifications subject to change.
