Thermaltake BERLIN 750W / HAMBURG 650W Power Supply Unit
Safety Warnings
Important Safety Precautions:
- Do not unplug the AC power cord while the power supply is in use, as this may damage components.
- Avoid placing the power supply in environments with high humidity and/or high temperatures.
- The power supply contains high voltages. Do not open the power supply case unless you are an authorized service technician or electrician. Doing so will void the warranty.
- Ensure the PSU is powered by the source indicated on the rating label.
- Failure to comply with any warnings and cautions in this manual will void all warranties and guarantees.
Installation Guide
Note: Ensure your system is turned off and unplugged. Disconnect the AC power cord from your old power supply.
- Open your computer case. Refer to your case manual for specific directions.
- Install the PSU into the case using the four provided screws.
- If your motherboard requires a 24-pin Main Power connector, connect the 24-pin Main Power connector to the motherboard.
- For motherboards requiring a 4-pin ATX 12V (CPU) connector, detach one 4-pin connector from the 4+4-pin ATX 12V connector and connect it to the motherboard. Either 4-pin connector from the 4+4-pin ATX 12V connector will work.
- For motherboards requiring a single 8-pin EPS connector, use the 4+4-pin connector from the power supply.
- Connect other peripheral power connectors to devices such as hard drives, optical drives, etc.
- If your graphics card requires a PCI-E power connector, connect the corresponding PCI-E connector as instructed by your graphics card’s user manual. The power supply utilizes a unique 6+2-pin PCI-E connector that can be used as a single 8-pin or 6-pin PCI-E connector. To use it as a 6-pin PCI-E connector, detach the 2-pin connector from the 6+2-pin connector.
- Close your computer case and connect the AC power cord to the power supply AC inlet.
Troubleshooting
If the power supply fails to function properly, please follow the troubleshooting guide before applying for service:
- Is the power cord plugged properly into the electrical outlet and into the power supply AC inlet?
- Please ensure the I/O switch on the power supply is set to the 'I' position.
- Please ensure all power connectors are properly connected to all devices.
- If connected to a UPS unit, is the UPS on and plugged in?
If the power supply is still unable to function properly after following the above instructions, please contact your local store or Tt branch office for after-sales service. You may also refer to Thermaltake’s website for more technical support: thermaltake.com
