Keyboard Layout
The keyboard features a standard US ANSI layout with 81 keys, arranged in a 75% form factor. Key components are indicated by numbered callouts:
- 1. Type-C: Refers to the USB Type-C port for wired connectivity.
- 2. USB, 2.4G, BT: A physical switch to select between Wired, 2.4GHz Wireless, and Bluetooth modes.
- 3. TFT Display: A small integrated screen for displaying information.
- 4. Knob Function: A rotary knob for control.
The layout includes standard keys, function keys (F1-F12), navigation keys, a numeric keypad section (compacted), and modifier keys.
Multimedia Function Keys
Access multimedia and system functions by pressing the 'Fn' key in combination with other keys:
- Fn + F1: Screen Brightness Decrease
- Fn + F2: Screen Brightness Increase
- Fn + F3: Windows Task View
- Fn + F4: Open File Explorer
- Fn + F5: LED Brightness Decrease
- Fn + F6: LED Brightness Increase
- Fn + F7: Reverse (Likely refers to lighting effect direction)
- Fn + F8: Play / Pause ▶️
- Fn + F9: Forward
- Fn + F10: Volume Mute ?
- Fn + F11: Volume Decrease ?
- Fn + F12: Volume Increase ?
- Fn + Esc: Restore Factory Settings
- Fn + Win: Windows Lock ?
Connectivity Modes
The Spectre 75 supports three connectivity modes:
- Wired Mode:
- Move the switch to the "Wired Mode" position.
- Connect the keyboard to your device using the included USB cable.
- 2.4 GHz Mode:
- Move the switch to the "2.4 GHz Mode" position.
- Insert the 2.4GHz Wireless USB Dongle into a USB port on your device.
- The keyboard should pair automatically.
- Bluetooth Mode (BT):
- Move the switch to the "BT Mode" position.
- Press 'Fn' + (1, 2, or 3) to switch between connected Bluetooth devices. The LCD screen will display "BT 1/2/3 Linking".
- To pair a new device, press and hold 'Fn' + (1, 2, or 3). The LCD screen will display "BT 1/2/3 Pairing".
LCD Functions
The integrated TFT display ?️ provides visual feedback:
LCD Icons:
- 1. System: Indicates the current operating system profile (Default Win, Mac, WIN).
- 2. Connections: Shows the active connection type (BT1, BT2, BT3, USB ?, 2.4G ?).
- 3. Windows Lock: Displays a lock icon (?) when the Windows key is locked.
- 4. Caps Lock: Displays 'A' when Caps Lock is active.
- 5. Number Lock: Displays '1' when Number Lock is active.
Battery Status:
- 6. Battery Level: Shows the current battery charge percentage (e.g., 100% ?).
- 7. Charging: Indicates charging status with a lightning bolt icon (⚡).
Knob Functions
The rotary knob ?️ offers dual-mode operation for controlling either the LCD menu or system volume.
Dual-mode Operation: Press 'Fn' + Knob to toggle between LCD and Volume modes.
LCD Mode:
- Rotate Left/Right: Navigate the LCD menu.
- Press Down: Confirm selection.
Volume Mode:
- Rotate: Control system volume.
- Press Down: Mute / Unmute system audio.
CPU/GPU Usage & Temperature Display:
This feature requires the keyboard software to be running. When activated, the display shows CPU and GPU temperatures and usage percentages. For example:

Software Guide
The accompanying software allows for extensive customization of your keyboard.
My Exclusive Config:
Create and edit custom key profiles here.
- Selecting the Profile to edit: Click on a profile to edit it. Profiles can also be Added, Deleted, Renamed, Imported, or Exported.
- Selecting the Layer to edit (Left-click):
- Option 1: Top Layer: The base layer of the keyboard.
- Option 2: FN Layer: Keys registered by pressing the combination of Fn + Key.
- Changing the Functions of individual keys:
- Simple key register: Left-click a key on the keyboard image, then press the desired key or function to assign.
- Right-click for more options: Assign a Default key, Disable a key, or set a Custom Function.
- Optional: FN Layer Options (Left-click):
- Option 1: FN Normal (Default): FN Layer keys are registered by pressing Fn + Key.
- Option 2: FN Toggle: Press Fn once to enter FN mode; subsequent key presses register their FN functions. Press Fn again to return to Normal mode.
Note: FN Layer functions for keys 1, 2, 3, and 4 (number row) are reserved for switching between Bluetooth devices and cannot be edited.

Keyboard Input | Select to insert keyboard input. Type key in the textbox and press 'Insert'. |

Repeat Count | Indicate how many times the macro repeats when activated. |
Start Recording | Press this button to start recording macro. Press again to stop recording. This tool records keyboard functions only. |
Action Record List | Fine-tune your macro here by shifting or deleting any inputs. Select the input you want to edit and then press the corresponding buttons. (Delete, Shift Up, Shift Down) |
Creating a Macro:
- Select 'New'.
- Edit your macro: insert or record inputs, and fine-tune in the Action Record List.
- Select 'Save'.
Assigning a Macro:
Navigate to 'My Exclusive Config' > Right-click on Key > Custom Function > Macro Definition > Select Macro > Press Apply.
TFT Screen Customization ?️
Create and edit custom GIFs for the TFT display. Recommended size: 240 x 135 pixels.

Uploading a GIF:
- Select 'Import', choose your GIF file, and click 'Open'.
- Select 'Upload to keyboard' to save and apply the GIF.
Creating a New Custom GIF:
- Select 'New'.
- Press the '+' on the new frame, select images for your GIF (multiple selection allowed), and click 'Open'.
- Edit each frame as desired.
- Select 'Upload to keyboard' to save and apply the GIF.
Per-Key RGB ?
Customize individual key RGB profiles.
Key Selection Options:
- Select All: Applies settings to all keys.
- Numeric: Selects all numeric keys.
- WASD: Selects the WASD keys.
To start customizing:
- Create a new profile by selecting the '+' button.
- Select the key(s) you wish to edit.
- Choose the color for the selected key(s).

Installation, Warranty, and Support
Installation:
Plug the TECWARE SPECTRE 75 into a USB port on your PC. No driver installation is required, as the operating system should automatically detect the keyboard.

The product comes with a 1-Year warranty. For support, please contact your local distributor.

In the event of a mechanical switch failure, instructions on how to easily replace the faulty switch can be found on the Tecware website (www.tecware.co).
