2. Connection Diagram

Connections:

Power/Charging port
USB-B Port: Connect to computer.
USB-A Ports: Connect to hard drives or SoundSwitch DMX interfaces.
Main Outputs (XLR or RCA)
Mic Input (Front Panel, 1/4")
Headphones (Front Panel, 1/4" and 1/8")

3. Operation

Engine DJ Standalone OS

Connect a USB drive or SD card, or use built-in Wi-Fi to connect to streaming services or access your library from the cloud.

7" HD Touchscreen

Multi-gesture support allows you to browse and load tracks and view responsive waveforms. Press VIEW to cycle between Performance and Library Views. Press SHIFT+VIEW to cycle between horizontal and vertical waveforms.

Built-In Battery

The CHARGING LED next to the POWER button will be solid red when charging and turn off when fully charged.

Onboard Speakers

With independent volume control using the SPEAKER LEVEL knob.

Smart Scratch

SCRATCH MODE buttons (SMART, NORMAL, SCRATCH): Press to disable or enable Smart Scratch. When enabled, the track's timeline continues when you use the platter to scratch. When the platter is released, the track will resume normal playback. When disabled, use the platter to scratch as you would with a vinyl record. Press SHIFT and this button to enable jog mode to adjust the track's speed with the platter.

Pad Modes: CUE (Set and jump to hot cue points), SAVED LOOP (Create and trigger manual loops), AUTO LOOP (Trigger automatic, time-based loops), ROLL (Trigger loop rolls as the track continues). Press each button a second time to access a second bank of values for the four performance pads.

Built-In Software Effects

Use the FX SELECT buttons to select an effect. Move the FX TOGGLE switch away to latch the effect. Hold the switch toward you to activate it momentarily. Use the touchscreen to adjust the FX RATE and WET/DRY.

Control Center

Press MENU to open the Control Center, where you can access Source, Wi-Fi, Record, User Profile, and Settings menus.

Engine Lighting

Press LIGHTING to open Engine Lighting view to control compatible light fixtures.
