Chapter 1 BIOS Update
UEFI Shell
Follow these instructions to update BIOS:
- Go to the Gigabyte website (https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Mini-PcBarebone) and key in the model name in the search bar to access the product page.Screenshot shows the Gigabyte website with navigation for Mini-PC Barebone (BRIX) products, including a search bar and product listing. . - Power on BRIX and press “DEL” to enter the BIOS setting page. Then go to “Chipset” tab and set “BIOS Lock" to disable. (Intel platform only)Screenshot shows the BIOS setup utility. The "Chipset" tab is selected, and the "BIOS Lock" option is shown set to "Disable".
- Go to "Save & Exit" tab and set “ME FW Image Re-Flash” to Enable. (Intel platform only)Screenshot shows the "Save & Exit" tab of the BIOS setup utility. The "ME FW Image Re-Flash" option is shown set to "Enabled".
