How to Use
Spreading the Throw: Spread the throw over your sofa, armchair, or bed, ensuring the throw connector is positioned at the foot end.
Placement: Place the throw over yourself without wrapping it tightly. Avoid sitting on it, as this may activate the overheat protection system.
Connecting the Control Unit:
Insert the control unit connector (2) into the throw connector (1) to connect the control unit to the throw.
Insert the plug of the control unit cable into the mains socket (3). Upon insertion, the control unit performs a self-diagnosis, lighting up all LEDs (10, 11) sequentially for approximately two seconds.
Switching On and Selecting Temperature
The control unit offers the following temperature levels:
- 6: Fast pre-heat temperature
- 5-4: Medium pre-heat temperature
- 3-1: Continuous or all-night use
To switch the throw on, press the ON/OFF button (7). The control unit will automatically check the appliance's functionality, lighting up all LEDs (10, 11) sequentially. After this check, the control unit defaults to temperature setting 6 and a timer of 1 hour.
For fast pre-heating, use maximum temperature 6. For a medium pre-heat, select settings 4-5 by pressing the temperature selector button (8) until the corresponding LED (11) lights up. Higher numbers indicate higher temperatures.
IMPORTANT: To accurately judge the temperature, lie under the throw as you would normally use it. Do not rely on touching it with your hand.
Continuous Use:
For continuous use, set the control unit to temperature levels 1 to 3 only.
To set for continuous use, press the temperature selector button (8) until LEDs 1, 2, or 3 light up (11).
⚠️ DO NOT set the control unit to a higher temperature than recommended for continuous use. Doing so may cause skin burns or heat stroke.
⚠️ WARNING! DO NOT place the control unit under the pillow or under the sheets when in use.
Auto Shut Off Timer
The throw features an automatic shut-off timer with options for 1, 3, or 9 hours. When switched on, the control unit defaults to a 1-hour timer, indicated by LED 1h (10) lighting up green. To set a different timer duration, press the timer selector button (6) and choose the desired setting. Each time the timer is reset, it starts from zero. When the timer elapses, the throw switches off, and the standby LED (9) illuminates blue.
ℹ️ NOTE: If the power supply is interrupted during use, upon reconnection, the control unit will maintain the previous temperature and timer settings, and the timer counter will restart from zero.
ℹ️ NOTE: The light intensity of the display dims approximately 15 seconds after the last button press to avoid disturbing users. Similarly, the standby LED becomes less bright 15 seconds after activation.
Switching Off
Switch the throw off by pressing the ON/OFF button (7) and then remove the plug from the socket (3).
Cleaning and Maintenance
The throw is washable. Always check the washing symbols on the label for correct care instructions.
⚠️ WARNING! Always disconnect the appliance from the mains and disconnect the control connector from the throw before cleaning or performing maintenance.
Before Washing:
- Take the plug of the control unit cable out of the mains socket (3).
- Press the grip levers on the sides of the control unit connector (2) to detach it from the throw connector (1).
Machine Washing:
- The throw can be cleaned in a washing machine at 30°C on a delicate cycle.
- Pre-treat any stains by spot cleaning before machine washing.
- Use only the delicate cycle for spinning. DO NOT use an additional spinning cycle.
Drying in the Tumble Dryer:
The throw can be dried in a tumble dryer on a delicate cycle at a moderate temperature. However, it must be air-dried completely at the end of the drying cycle.
- Remove the throw from the tumble dryer at the end of the cycle and reshape it to its original size.
- Allow the throw to fully air-dry before using it again.
Drying in the Open Air:
When drying on a clothes airer, spread the throw out and stretch it to maintain its original size. This is best done while the throw is still damp, working alternately on opposite corners and pulling sides. This procedure may need repeating until the throw is completely dry.
⚠️ WARNING! Dry the appliance flat without using pegs to avoid damaging it. Lay it flat on a clothes airer, out of direct sunlight.
✔️ Only use the throw when it is thoroughly dry.
❌ Do not iron the throw.
⚠️ WARNING! Examine the appliance against the light to ensure the cables are not bent or twisted.
⚠️ WARNING! If the appliance does not resume its original size or if problems arise with the internal cables, contact an authorised service centre for a safety check.

When not in use, store the throw as follows:
- If the throw has been washed, ensure it is completely dry before storing.
- Fold it like a normal throw.
- It is advisable to store the throw in its original packaging if available.
- Allow the appliance to cool down before folding for storage.
