Congratulations on your purchase and thank you for choosing the groov-e GV-MA211 Mini Printer, Portable Wireless Thermal Printer. Please read the user guide carefully before using.

Important Safety Information

• Keep the product and all its parts out of reach of children under 3 years of age.
• Only use the USB cable that came with the product. Using an unauthorised cable will invalidate your guarantee and may irrecoverably damage the product.
• This product has an integral rechargeable battery and should not be disposed of in the normal household waste but taken to an appropriate recycling facility, where and when these are available.
• Never throw batteries in a fire or attempt to open the outer casing.
• This product does not contain any user serviceable parts. Unauthorised handling of the device may damage it and will void your warranty.
• Keep it dry. Avoid exposure to precipitation, humidity and liquids which could all affect the product circuitry.
• Do not leave it in low temperatures as moisture can form inside the product, which may damage the circuit board.
• Do not leave it in high temperatures as electronic devices and plastic parts may warp in heat.
• Keep it away from bright sunlight or heat sources, such as a radiator.
• Never place any type of candle or naked flame on top of, or near the product.
• Do not touch the Thermal Printer head to avoid scalding and prevent the printer from overheating.
• Be careful not to touch the paper tear blade as it is sharp and may cause injury.

Front View

The front of the printer is square with a circular area displaying the 'groov-e' logo.

Side View

The side view shows the USB-C input port and the paper compartment latch, which is present on both sides.

Back View

The back view shows the Power Button and the Print Output slot.

Included Accessories

The box includes a USB-C charging cable and paper rolls: 1 x Thermal Paper Roll 57x25mm and 2 x Self-adhesive Roll 57x25mm.

Operation

Charging the Integral Printer Battery

Your printer has an integral 3.7V, 1200 mAh rechargeable battery. For first-time use, fully charge the battery, which takes approximately 2 hours. Connect the USB-C end of the charging cable to the printer and the USB-A end to a computer or USB charging device. A 5V/1A mains power charger can be used, but avoid chargers above 5V or fast charging. The red battery charging LED indicates charging. When fully charged, the LED turns off. A full charge provides approximately 4-5 hours of use (up to 2 hours with continuous printing).

Turning On/Off

1. Long press the Power Button for 3 seconds to turn on the printer.
2. Long press the Power Button again for 3 seconds to turn the printer off.

Downloading the Fun Print App

Scan the QR code to download the Fun Print app, or find it on the Apple Store or Google Play Store. Follow the in-app instructions after downloading.

Connecting to Bluetooth

Turn on Bluetooth ? on your smart device and search for available devices. Select "GV-MA211" to connect. You can then use the app to print.

Using the App

The Fun Print app is the smart app for your printer. You can print your memorable moments on post-it sized stickers, send your moments to your loved ones, and print banners. Features include: Print memos, text & labels; Take photo ? and print images; Picture Print; Animated Portrait; Line drawing; Voice print; Text Scan ?; New Slip; Todo; Banner; Sticky Note ?.

LED Indicator

The LED Status Indicator is located under the Power Button: Flashing Green Light: Waiting for Bluetooth Connection. Solid Green Light: Bluetooth successfully connected. Solid Red Light: Printer is Charging.

Changing the Printing or Sticker Paper

When the app indicates low paper ?, refill the printer. With the printer turned off: 1. Press the paper compartment release buttons on the sides inwards and up. Open the paper compartment lid and remove any old paper. 2. Drop the new paper roll with the loose end at the top, ensuring it will unroll from the top. 3. Unstick the new roll and pull out a 2cm section of paper through the printing paper slot. Note: Use 57mm x 25mm thermal printer paper rolls or sticker paper.

Troubleshooting

The Printer does not work or is very faint

Check if a new printer paper roll is installed correctly. Please refer to the 'Changing the Printer or Sticker Paper' section. Allow the printer time to warm up before use. Note: The printer cannot be used while it is charging.

Guarantee

groov-e guarantees this equipment against defects in workmanship or materials for one year from the date of purchase. The product will be repaired or replaced free of charge if proven defective within the warranty period. Claims should be made through the retailer or directly to groov-e. The guarantee is valid within the United Kingdom with proof of purchase. Exclusions include damage from accident, misuse, wear and tear, neglect, improper installation/use, alterations, data loss, damage to third-party devices. No liability for damage during transit or if the serial number plate is altered. groov-e is not liable for consequential damage, loss, or injury, except for negligence. Carriage costs are borne by the purchaser. The guarantee is personal and non-transferable. A test fee may be incurred if the equipment meets specifications.

Declaration of Conformance

groov-e declares that this product complies with the essential requirements and relevant provisions of the Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU. The complete declaration of conformity can be requested from groov-e. This guarantee is in addition to statutory consumer rights.
