User Guide
1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the GV-BT800 Bluetooth stereo earphones. This manual will help you operate the earphones. Please familiarize yourself with the Bluetooth functionality of your Bluetooth devices before using the earphones.
Safety Rules
- Please follow the guidelines explained in this manual closely to ensure your safety before using the earphones.
- Be careful of any sharp edges on the packaging etc.
- These earphones do not contain any reusable parts, so please do not modify or dismantle them. Doing so may invalidate your warranty and could cause electric shocks or fires.
- Do not use any abrasive or volatile liquids to clean the earphones.
- Do not use the earphones in a hazardous location.

4. How to Use
4.1 General Functions
Function | Action |
---|---|
To turn on | Press and hold the "[multifunction button]" for 3 seconds (The red LED slowly flashes and a beep can be heard). |
To enter the pairing mode | Ensure the earphones are off and press and hold the "[multifunction button]" for 6 seconds. (The blue LED and red LED flash alternately and two beeps can be heard). |
Pairing | When in pairing mode, the earphones will be discoverable to your mobile device. Refer to your device's pairing instructions. |
Play/Pause | Press the "[multifunction button]" to play when the device is pausing, and press to pause when the device is playing. |
Volume up | Press "+" for volume up. |
Volume down | Press "-" for volume down. |
To switch cable lights on/off | Press and hold the glowing cable control button. To change the frequency of the flashing lights, press the button once (to switch between slow flash or quick flash). |
To turn off | Press and hold the "[multifunction button]" for 3 seconds when the device is on (a tone voice beep and all LED is off). |
Low battery warning | The red LED flashes. |
To Charge the earphones | Plug the micro USB connector into the micro USB port on the earphones, then plug the USB adaptor into a suitable USB charger. When charging, the red LED light will be illuminated. |
To answer a call | Press the "[multifunction button]" for 1 second. |
To end a call | Press the "[multifunction button]" for 1 second. |
To switch a phone call between the phone and the earphones | Double click the "[multifunction button]" during the call. |
To reject call | Press the "[multifunction button]" for 2 seconds to reject the call when the call is ringing. |
Last number redial | Double click the "[multifunction button]" when connected or during music playback. |
To perform a factory reset | Whilst in charging mode, short click the "[multifunction button]". The blue LED will flash twice; the earphones will now be restored to the factory setting. |
4.2. Pairing to Bluetooth devices
To use your Bluetooth Stereo earphones, you must first pair them with your Bluetooth device. Once your earphones are paired to a specific device, they will remain paired when they are within range.
4.3 You can pair two devices at the same time.
After pairing the first device, switch off the Bluetooth function on the first device. Then turn on the second device to pair with the earphones. After the second device is successfully paired with the earphones, switch the Bluetooth mode on the first device back on. Both devices are now connected to the earphones, and music can be selected from either device.
Pairing to a Bluetooth device:
- Turn on your device and ensure its Bluetooth function is activated.
- Turn on the Bluetooth Stereo earphones and go to pairing mode.
- Set your mobile device to scan for mobile devices.
- After a few seconds, your device will discover the earphones under "GV-BT800". Select it, and your device will confirm the pairing.
- You can listen to music and any other sort of entertainment with your device, enjoying all the audio through the earphones. You can control your device with the earphone controls, e.g., Volume up/down and previous/next tracks.
Pairing to a computer:
- If your computer does not have Bluetooth functionality, a Bluetooth adapter will be required. Connect the adapter to your computer and ensure its Bluetooth function is activated.
- Turn on the device and go to the pairing mode.
- Open the Bluetooth software (such as Blue Soleil) installed on your computer and select the "Search your Bluetooth devices" function. Refer to your user manual of the Bluetooth software for more information.
- After a few seconds, the GV-BT800 will list in the Bluetooth software of your computer as a discoverable device. Select this icon and click the right button of the mouse to select "pairing", then select "connect with audio device" with the right button on the mouse.
- Open your media player software to play music, watch TV/movies, and play video games. The audio effect will now be played back through your earphones.
4.4. Charging your device
The device is easy to connect to a USB mains charger. Make sure the headphones are fully charged for at least 3.5 hours before initial use. Insert one end of your USB cable into a charger or USB port on a PC and the other end into the Micro USB socket on the headphones. While charging, the red LED light is on constantly. When charging is completed, the red LED turns off.
4.5. Earpieces
- Ensure you assign the "R" to the right ear and the "L" to the left ear.
- One ear at a time, hook the ear-hook around the ear.
- Ensuring that the fin is pointing towards the "R" and "L", twist the ear-hook to secure the ear-fin into your inner ear lobe. This will ensure the best fit. Please put the sound hole in the right position as indicated by the arrow.
- This is a standard guide for getting the best fit, as all your ears are different, please adjust for your own personal best fit.
