This guide provides essential steps to set up your HUAWEI WiFi Mesh system. It covers initial connections, app installation, and router configuration for both app-based and web-based methods.

Setup Process

Step 1: Install the App

Step 2: Connect the Cables

Connect the HUAWEI WiFi Mesh router to your modem using a network cable and then connect it to a power supply. The indicator light should turn steady blue when connected to the network.

Step 3: Set up the Router

Method 1: Configure via the App

1. Connect your mobile phone to the router's Wi-Fi.
2. Open the HUAWEI app and touch 'CONFIGURE'.
3. Touch 'GET STARTED'.
4. Enter your broadband account and password if required.
5. Set a new Wi-Fi name and password.

Method 2: Configure via Web-based Management Page

1. Connect your mobile phone to the router's Wi-Fi.
2. Open a browser and navigate to the management page (typically 192.168.3.1).
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the configuration.

Step 4: Connect Additional Routers

Place additional HUAWEI WiFi Mesh routers in areas with poor Wi-Fi signal and connect them to power. They are plug-and-play and will automatically connect to the network. For optimal performance, place routers within 10 meters of each other with minimal walls in between.

Indicator Status

• Steady blue: Connected to the Internet.
• Steady red: Not connected to the Internet. Check cable connections and contact your carrier if issues persist.
• Flashing: The router is detecting a pairable device. Press the 'H' button to initiate pairing.
