K-Rain PRO-LC WiFi-Ready Irrigation Controller

Introduction

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for connecting the K-Rain BRIDGE WiFi Module to your PRO-LC WiFi-Ready Irrigation Controller and the internet. This module enables control via a smartphone, tablet, or computer.

Getting Started

Important: Use only the power supply provided with the controller.

Items Needed:

• PRO-LC WiFi Enabled Irrigation Controller
• BRIDGE WiFi Module
• Smart phone or tablet
• Internet access

Location Considerations:

Choose a location for the controller with good WiFi signal strength. You can evaluate this using the WiFi signal indicator on your smartphone or tablet; the icon should appear full (?). Avoid placing the controller near large metal appliances such as hot water heaters or air conditioning units, as these can interfere with the WiFi signal.

Setup Steps

Step 1: Download the K-Rain PRO-LC WiFi App

Download the K-Rain PRO-LC WiFi App from your device's app store. This initial step involves creating a user account and connecting the WiFi to the controller for the first time. Ensure Bluetooth is active on your device during this process.

Step 2: Register Your Account

Open the K-Rain PRO-LC WiFi App and navigate to the "Register" tab.

Step 3: Create User Account

Enter a username, a valid email address, and choose a password in the registration form. Agree to the K-Rain Terms of Use and Privacy Policy by checking the confirmation box. Then, tap the "Register Now" button.

Step 4: Confirm Your Account

Check your email for a confirmation code sent by K-Rain. Enter this code into the "Confirmation Code" field in the app and tap the "Confirm" button.

Step 5: Connect the BRIDGE WiFi Module

Plug the BRIDGE WiFi Module into the designated port on the PRO-LC WiFi Controller. Wait for the blue indicator light on the module to turn solid. Press the white activation button located on the side of the module. The light will then begin to flash, indicating it is in discoverable mode and ready for pairing with your device.

Step 6: Add a New Device in the App

Open the K-Rain app. On the main dashboard screen, tap the "+" (plus) sign located at the bottom of the screen to add a new device.

Step 7: Scan and Connect to the Controller

Tap the "Scan" button. When the controller appears in the list of found devices (e.g., "K-BRIDGE 24DCC3CBC504"), tap the "CONNECT" button.

Step 8: Connect to WiFi Network

If your smart device is already connected to your preferred WiFi network, the SSID (network name) will populate automatically. Enter your WiFi network password in the designated field and tap "CONNECT WIFI".

Step 9: Register to Cloud

Press the "Register to Cloud" button. Confirm the action by tapping "CONTINUE". Once the device is successfully registered, tap "OK" on the confirmation message indicating "Cloud Registration Success".

Step 10: View Connected Devices

You will be automatically directed to the app's dashboard, which displays all your connected devices, including your PRO-LC controller with its zone count and system status.
