Konftel 300IP Installation Guide
REGISTER AN ACCOUNT
The conference phone can be registered with a company SIP switch, PBX, or a public IP telephony service provider. The Konftel 300IP supports settings for two accounts. To register your phone, you need account information and settings from your SIP switch or service provider.
- Select Settings > SIP.
- Click Yes next to Enable account under Account 1.
- Enter the account information provided.
- Account name: Choose the name or phone number that will appear on the phone's display.
- ? Leave default values if no other information is available.
- Select a method for NAT traversal if required.
- Save settings by clicking the Save button.
The Konftel 300IP will display 'REGISTERING'. Successful registration shows your selected account name at the bottom of the display with a shaded square. In some cases, security settings on the Media tab may be necessary. Refer to the "Installation and Administration of Konftel 300IP" manual for details.

GETTING STARTED
The Konftel 300IP requires a network address and SIP registration before use. The easiest method is to use a PC connected to the same network and the Konftel 300IP's integrated web server.
Obtaining a network address
When connected to the network, the conference phone typically obtains an IP address via DHCP. If DHCP is not used, refer to "Installation and Administration of Konftel 300IP" for static IP address setup instructions.
Checking the network address
- Press MENU and select STATUS > NETWORK.

- Check the conference phone's network address under the IP ADDRESS heading.
- Use this address to log into the web server via your computer's web browser.

SOFTWARE UPGRADE AND BASIC SETTINGS
These settings are typically performed during installation. Comprehensive details are available in "Installation and Administration of Konftel 300IP".
Upgrading software
- Select Settings > Provisioning.
- Click Check Now.
- Compare the latest version with the current version displayed on the web page.
- If an upgrade is needed, select the desired version and click Upgrade.
The upgrade process will be shown on the browser window and the Konftel 300IP display. Downloading and installation may take several minutes; do not interrupt the process. Upon completion, the message "Upgrade Complete. The unit will be rebooted." will appear, followed by the Konftel signature tune indicating the phone has restarted.
Setting time and region
- Select Settings > Time & Region.
- Select the time zone and enable Daylight Saving Time (DST) correction if desired.
- Time and date can also be set manually, or a different time server can be chosen.
- Select your region. This setting influences tone generation.
- Save the setting.
The Konftel 300IP will reboot with the new settings.
Changing the language
- Select Settings > Basic.
- Choose your desired language from the Language list and save the setting.
Changing the PIN
It is recommended to change the default Admin PIN code for security. Record the new PIN code securely. The administrator's PIN can only be reset through a complete factory reset.
- Select Settings > Basic and click the Edit button on the Admin line.
- Enter a new PIN code (up to 8 digits).
- Click the Set and Save buttons.
