Shark Navigator Motor Replacement
This repair guide will help you replace the motor of the vacuum.

This document provides step-by-step instructions for replacing the motor in a Shark Navigator vacuum cleaner. Follow these instructions carefully to ensure a successful repair.

Step 1: Roller Brush Compartment
Prepare the Roller Brush Compartment
Pop out the two small wheels located on the front end of the bottom of the roller brush compartment.

Step 2: Remove Screws
Detach the Roller Brush Compartment
Remove the 10 Phillips screws located on the bottom of the roller brush compartment. Note that two of these screws are located underneath the wheels that were removed in the previous step.
? The screws have varying lengths, so it is important to keep track of where each one goes for proper reassembly.

Step 3: Access Motor Area
Remove Protective Cover
Remove the white plastic cover to expose the roller compartment underneath.

Step 4: Motor Replacement
Remove and Replace Motor
Once the vacuum top is opened, you can simply remove the motor as shown in the image.
Before removing the motor, make sure to carefully untangle or unhook any wires that are connected to it.
Once the old motor is detached and removed, you can proceed to replace it with a new one.

Reassembly
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
