Setup mode:
- Setting IΔn: 0.03 A, 0.3 A, 1 A, 3 A
- Setting Δt: 0s, 0.3s, 1s, 3s
Attention: After 5 seconds of permanence on the display of the new protection value (IΔn or Δt), it is automatically set.
The diagram shows the relationship between the set IΔn value, the set Δt value, the measured value present, and the history of interventions for differential tripping.

3.4 Electrodynamic Forces
This section provides recommended distances to maintain between the breaker and the first fixing point of the conductor and bars to mitigate the effects of electrodynamic stresses during a short circuit. The installation of the anchorage system should utilize isolators suitable for the conductor type and operating voltage.

6. Connections
Possible way of assembly on DIN rail: vertical, supply invertor type.
To ensure the circuit breaker's connection, the following can be used: busbars, cables lugs, cables, cage terminals.

7. Equipments and Accessories
7.1 Releases
Three types of releases are available for DPX³ 125/160/250 HP and DPX³ 160/250:
- Shunt releases (ST): Available for various AC voltages (12V~ to 480V~) with a maximum power of 400 VA/W.
- Undervoltage releases (UVR): Available for various AC voltages (12V~ to 480V~) with a maximum power of 4 VA. Circuit breaker opening time is less than 50 ms.
- Time-lag undervoltage releases (800 ms): Available for 230V~ and 400V~, to be equipped with a time-lag module.
7.2 Auxiliary Contacts
Used to indicate the status of the contacts or the opening of the DPX³ on a fault.
- Standard auxiliary contact (OC) / Fault signal (CTR): Available for various DC and AC voltages (24V to 250V) with corresponding intensity ratings.
Configurations: OC, CTR, OC/CTR.

7.3 Rotary Handles
Various types of suited rotary handles are available, also compatible with DPX³ 160.
- Direct on DPX³ (with auxiliary option and compatible with XL³): Standard (black) and Emergency use (red/yellow) versions.
- Vary depth handle IP55 (with auxiliary option and compatible with XL³): Standard (black) and Emergency use (red/yellow) versions.
- Locking accessories for rotary handle with auxiliary option: Key barrels and flat/star keys.
- Direct on DPX³ (general purpose): Standard (black) and Emergency use (red/yellow) versions.

- Padlocks (for locking in "open" position): DPX³ padlock accessory for handle.
- Insulated shields (phase barriers): Set of 36 for 4P.
- Sealable terminal shields: For front spreaders 4P.
- Fixing plates in XL³ for transfer switches: Plates for mounting and interlocking 2 DPX³ (160/250 HP and DPX³ 160/250). Available for fixed and plug-in versions.
- Fixing plates in XL³: For fixing DPX³ 250 on DIN rail or on plate. Available for DPX³ 250 4P with earth leakage and DPX³ 250 4P with side mounting motor operator.
7.6 Connection Accessories
- Front spreaders: Set of 4 (for 4P), also compatible with DPX³ 250 HP.
- Cage terminals: Set of 4 standard terminals for 1x150 mm² max (rigid) or 1x120 mm² max (flexible) Cu/Al bar/cable lug (for Al cables In max 125 A). Screw terminals for bar connections (4P).
8. Marking
Product labeling includes manufacturer information, product denomination, type, code, standard conformity, and characteristics. Laser labels are on the front, while sticker labels are on the side and packaging.

DPX³ range of products complies with IEC/EN standards 60947-2 and 60947-3. Certification is available through IECEE CB-scheme or LOVAG Compliance scheme.
RoHS: Compliance with Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS), as modified by 2015/863/EU, restricts hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
REACH: Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) are declared in the European SCIP database if present above 0.1% weight by weight. As of the publication date, no substances from Annex XIV are found in this product.
WEEE: The sale of this product includes a contribution to environmental bodies for the handling of Electrical and Electronic Equipment Waste.
Batteries: Batteries included comply with European Regulation 2023/1542.
