1. Charging and Activation

a. Connect the DM4 charging cable to a 5V-1A adapter and plug it in. Ensure the cable aligns correctly with the metal contact pins on the back of the watch. The built-in magnets will automatically attach to the correct poles for charging.

b. If the watch is new or has not been used for a long time, the battery may be in a 0-volt protection state. Charge the watch for at least 15 minutes to gather enough energy to activate. The built-in magnets will automatically attach to the correct poles for charging.

c. It is recommended to charge the device once a month. Keep the device fully charged and turn it off when not in use to ensure longevity and optimal performance.

2. App Download

1. Download the "GloryFitPro" app from the App Store or Google Play.

2. Scan the QR code to download the app.

3. Pairing the Watch

a. For first-time use of the GloryFitPro app, enable access to Bluetooth and wireless data on your smartphone by granting necessary permissions in your phone's settings. Use the app with the following permissions:

  • Basic Permissions: Turn on phone Bluetooth and ensure proper connection. Access location information for device connection. Access photos, media, and files for features like avatar modification.
  • Incoming Call Alert: Access phone call log for alerts.

Xiaomi MIUI setting method: Instructions are provided for locking the app, allowing auto-start, and adding it to the app whitelist for background running and battery management.

b. Set up personal information (gender, height, weight, etc.) or skip this step.

4. Establishing Bluetooth Connection

Click "Add a new device" and select the DM4-A33 Bluetooth device to establish the connection.

Connection Status Display

Three states are shown:

  • BT call and APP disconnected
  • APP connected, BT call disconnected
  • APP connected, BT call connected

Note: The watch pairs with the iOS system app for notifications even when the app is closed. For Android phones, the app must be open to receive notifications.

5. GPS Usage

a. Connect and bind the APP when using the GPS function for the first time. Within approximately 3 minutes of binding, the "GloryFitPro" app sends GPS ephemeris data and other information to the watch via Bluetooth in the background.

Successful ephemeris transmission significantly shortens GPS positioning time. If transmission fails, the watch will display "AGPS has expired" when opening a sports function with GPS for the first time.

Expired AGPS leads to long positioning times, affecting the experience. You can try unbinding and rebinding the watch-app. Wait 2 minutes before using the GPS function again. If APGS is sent successfully, the "AGPS has expired" reminder will not appear.

b. Every morning at 09:00, the "GloryFitPro" app will retrieve the latest GPS ephemeris data for the day. The watch receives this data when Bluetooth is connected.

c. GPS positioning time and track drift are influenced by environmental factors. Choosing an open location or moving away from tall buildings helps GPS locate quickly and reduces track deviation.

d. Save training data after exercise; the APP will synchronize it. Training tracks and data can be viewed in detail within the APP.

6. Activating Message Notifications

a. SMS Reminder: The device vibrates to alert when a text message is received. Allow GloryFitPro to receive SMS and MMS.

b. App Reminder: Allow notification permissions for the device to receive notifications and control the music player. Supported apps include Instagram, YouTube, Messenger, Gmail, Snapchat, Facebook, X, WhatsApp, Pinterest, Hangouts, and LinkedIn.

c. The watch cannot receive notifications if the phone is in "Do Not Disturb" mode.

d. Ensure Bluetooth is active on the mobile phone, the GloryFitPro app is running, and the watch is connected via Bluetooth.

e. Ensure notifications are visible in your phone's notification bar.

7. Manually Updating Weather Location

8. Setting Watch Display Units

Navigate to Unit Settings to configure:

  • Temperature Unit: Celsius or Fahrenheit
  • Metric and Imperial Units: Metric or Imperial
  • Unit of Weight: kg or lb
  • Time System: Follow the system, 12-hour system, or 24-hour system

9. Setting/Downloading Watch Faces

a. Press and hold the watch face for 2 seconds, then swipe quickly to switch between watch faces.

b. Download watch faces from the GloryFitPro app's watch face market. Only one watch face can be saved at a time; a new download replaces the previous one.

c. Touchscreen Functionality Overview:

  • Control Center: Access quick settings.
  • Messages: View notifications.
  • Menu: Access apps and features.
  • Data: View health and activity metrics.

10. Resetting the Watch

If data for activity, sleep, or heart rate is inaccurate, or if Bluetooth connection or calls are not functioning, try resetting the watch and reconnecting.

11. Setting Up Always-On Display

a. Tap "Settings" to access "Watch Face & Theme".

b. Tap "Custom" to activate the Always-On Display. Enabling this feature may shorten battery life.

12. Turning Call and Media Audio On/Off

a. Call Audio: Control call audio settings.

b. Media Audio: You can turn off media audio playback when receiving calls. This is useful in noisy environments or for privacy.

13. Adding and Synchronizing Favorite Contacts

Add contacts to the watch via the GloryFitPro app.

14. Unbinding APP

iOS: In the app's "Device" interface, find and tap "Unbind" to go to the "Settings-Bluetooth" interface. Tap the information icon (ⓘ) next to the device and select "Forget this device" to unbind it from the phone system. Ensure it is no longer connected to the phone, otherwise, it may not reconnect next time.

Android: In the app's "Device" interface, find and tap "Unbind" to disconnect the connection to the mobile phone.

15. Notes

a. Do not expose the watch to extreme temperatures, such as direct sunlight or near high-temperature devices like heaters, ovens, microwaves, or water heaters. High temperatures can lead to battery explosions or other safety incidents.

b. The product contains a non-removable pure cobalt battery. Non-professionals should not attempt to disassemble it in case of a safety incident.

c. This product has passed multiple water tests. However, due to different usage methods, internal parts may experience wear, affecting water resistance. Wear the smartwatch with caution when swimming and diving, but avoid wearing it in saunas or during hot showers.

d. These products are not medical devices. Heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep, calorie, and step data, along with other collected health data, are for reference only and not for clinical use.
