Operating Rules
This User Manual contains information on the basic operating rules for the TECNO CI6n CAMON 19 smartphone and its charger (model TECNO U180TED). It also provides a brief description of its functional capabilities.
Safety Precautions:
- Follow mobile communication rules while driving. Use the "Hands-Free" function or stop the car to talk. Placing the phone in an airbag deployment zone may cause serious injury if the airbag activates.
- Avoid exposing the device to high temperatures, pressure, or high humidity. Avoid strong impacts, as they may cause the device to malfunction.
- Mobile phone radiation may cause interference with other communication devices, including regular phones, TV and radio receivers, and office equipment.
- Do not place the phone or its accessories in microwave ovens, as this may lead to fire or equipment damage.
- Observe the rules for using mobile devices in airplanes, medical facilities, gas stations, chemical plants, and other locations where mobile communication is restricted due to potential interference with sensitive equipment or the presence of flammable materials.
- Do not disassemble the device or its accessories (including the battery). This may cause the device to malfunction and the battery to leak.
- The phone's battery is non-removable. Attempts to remove it yourself may cause irreversible damage to the device.
- Protect the smartphone's liquid crystal display from impacts. In case of display damage and contact of liquid crystal substance with eyes, immediately flush eyes with water and seek medical attention.
- Using sharp objects to operate the touchscreen may cause it to break.
- Mobile phone radiation can cause interference with other communication devices.
- To prevent damage, use only original accessories. Using non-original batteries or chargers may lead to battery leakage or fire.
- Do not attempt to open the device in any way other than as described in the manual.
- Self-repair or repair by unauthorized service centers will void the warranty.
- The phone, battery, and charger are not waterproof. Do not use them in rain or in high-humidity environments (e.g., bathrooms).
- Clean the phone, battery, and charger with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use alcohol, spirits, or gasoline for cleaning.
Charger Operation Rules
- For fast charging, use the provided charger. Ensure the battery is correctly positioned before charging. Do not remove the battery during charging.
- Do not cover the phone during charging, as this may cause overheating and potential ignition.
- Charge the phone in a well-ventilated area, away from flammable and explosive materials.
- Do not charge the device in humid environments (e.g., bathrooms). If water or other liquid gets on the charger, immediately unplug it from the outlet.
- Dirt and dust in the outlet may hinder the charging process. Regularly clean the charger and outlet of dust. Unplug the charger before cleaning.
- Use the specified AC voltage. Incorrect voltage may cause fire or damage to the phone and charger. Do not short-circuit the charger, as this can cause electric shock, smoke, and device damage.
- Keep children away from the charging device.
- Do not touch the charger, cable, or outlet with wet hands to avoid electric shock.
- Do not use the charger if the cable is visibly damaged to prevent fire or electric shock. Do not disassemble or modify the charger.
- Do not place heavy objects on the charging cable. When unplugging from the outlet, pull the charger block, not the cable.
Battery Charging
If the phone remains connected to the charger after reaching full charge, it will automatically detect battery drain and recharge. Charge the battery after prolonged periods of non-use to extend its lifespan.
Do not connect the charger to the device if there is no battery. Turn off the phone before removing the battery; otherwise, you may lose data stored on the phone.
Do not charge for more than 24 consecutive hours, as overheating can damage the battery. Battery drain is most active during calls, with screen backlight on, and while playing games. Extended active call time reduces battery life. The battery drains faster when the phone is outside of network coverage.
Battery life depends on charge level, temperature, signal strength, and screen brightness. Using a non-original battery may lead to leakage or fire.
For best results, charge the battery for at least 12 hours the first time to maximize its lifespan.
