Safety Precautions
RF Energy Exposure: This radio generates RF energy only while transmitting. It is designed to comply with exposure guidelines.
Choking Hazard: Contains small parts. Not for children under 3 years.
Turning off the radio: Turn off before removing/installing batteries or accessories, when charging, in potentially hazardous environments (blasting caps, explosive atmospheres), when refueling, or in facilities with sensitive equipment (hospitals, aircraft).
Electromagnetic Interference: Turn off the radio in facilities with posted notices or where sensitive equipment is in use.
Burns: Do not use a portable radio with a damaged antenna, as it may cause minor burns. Be cautious of battery terminals touching conductive materials, which can cause short circuits and burns.
Long Transmission: The radiator and chassis may become hot during extended transmissions.
Safety Operation: Do not use chargers outdoors or in moist environments. Do not disassemble the charger. Do not operate a damaged charger. Do not place the radio near an airbag deployment area. Pull the plug, not the cord, when disconnecting the charger. Unplug before maintenance. Contact Retekess for repairs.
Installation Instructions
- Place the host on the table.
- Mount the outside speaker on the outside of the glass.
- Plug the outside speaker wire into the host's wire hole.
- Connect the 100V-240V power adapter to the host.
- Check all connections and turn on the power switch. The power indicator light will illuminate.
- Gradually adjust the volume using the host's volume adjustment button until the inside and outside volumes are appropriate.
Troubleshooting
- Whistle: If experiencing poor noise performance or feedback, increase the distance between the host and outside speaker or reduce the volume.
- Silent: Ensure the 100V-240V power supply is plugged in securely or the DC12V adapter is properly connected. Re-adjust the volume.
- Staccato: Ensure the spokesman is close enough to the microphone (within 20CM). Avoid speaking simultaneously. Reduce speaker volume or position the speaker closer to the microphone if ambient noise is high.
