Installation Clearances:

Side Clearances:

• Minimum 18" clearance to cabinets on either side of the range.
• Minimum 3" clearance to the left wall.
• Minimum 6" clearance to the right wall.

Overhead Clearances:

• Maximum 15" depth for cabinets above countertops.

Rear and Base Clearances:

• Clearance to cabinets below cooktop and at the range back: 0".
• Front edge of the range side panel forward from cabinet: 1/4".

Gas Pipe and Electrical Outlet Locations:

For Rear Wall Installation:

• Recommended area for 120V outlet on the rear wall.
• Recommended area for through-the-wall connection of pipe stub and shut-off valve.
• Diagram shows a 4" distance from the wall for the outlet and a 9" distance from the wall for the pipe stub, with 8" and 2" vertical measurements respectively from the floor.

For Through-the-Floor Installation:

• Recommended area for through-the-floor connection of pipe stub and shut-off valve.
• Diagram shows a 4 1/2" distance from the wall for the outlet and a 14 1/2" distance from the wall for the pipe stub, with 5" and 3" vertical measurements respectively from the floor.

Anti-Tip Device: All GE Appliances ranges are equipped with an Anti-Tip device. Installation of this device is an important, required step.
