5. Operation
Control Panel
- On/Off Button: Press the ▶️ button to turn the dehumidifier on or off. Note: When switched off, the device may run for a short time to dry internal piping and the compressor. This drying function is important to prevent bacteria or mold and extends the device's life. It can be manually turned off via the button during drying, or disabled in the app. It is recommended not to stop this function.
- Mode Button: When the dehumidifier is on, press the M button to cycle through three modes: Smart, Sleep, and Clothes Drying.
- Smart Mode: Automatically adjusts settings and fan speed based on the room's humidity level and the expected humidity you set.
- Sleep Mode: Starts and stops automatically at a low fan speed based on the room's humidity level and the expected humidity you set.
- Clothes Drying Mode: Runs continuously at high speed for powerful dehumidifying. Humidity cannot be set in this mode. For optimal drying, spin-dry clothes first and use this mode in an enclosed room.
Note: The dehumidifier runs very quietly, so differences in noise level among modes may not be obvious. This is normal.
- Humidity Setting Button: When the dehumidifier is on, press the ? button to cycle through humidity settings: 40% → 45% → 50% → 55% → 60% → 65% → 70%.
- Timer Button: When the dehumidifier is on, press the ⏰ button to cycle through turn-off times: 0 → 1 → 2 → 3 → 4 hours. The timer will automatically set and the icon ⏰ will appear on the display after 5 seconds of no operation.
- Anion Function: Press and hold the Anion and ? buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to enable the Anion function. The display will show the Anion icon. Press and hold the Anion and ? buttons again for 3 seconds to disable it.
- Enabling/Disabling the Child Lock: Press and hold the Lock and ? buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to enable the child lock. The display will show the Lock icon, and the dehumidifier will not respond to button operations. Press and hold the Lock and ? buttons for 7 seconds again to disable the child lock.
- Water Full Alert: If the water tank gets too full or is not correctly installed, the dehumidifier will beep 5 times. The ? Full indicator will blink (on for 0.5 seconds, off for 0.5 seconds). All buttons except the on/off button will be disabled. The alert stops and the indicator goes out when the water level is normal or the tank is properly secured. The water full indicator will continuously blink.
- Humidity Status Indicator:
- Orange: Dry, relative humidity <40%
- Cyan: Comfortable, 40% ≤ relative humidity ≥ 70%
- Blue: Humid, relative humidity > 70%
- Auto-defrost Function: If frost forms, the unit automatically enables defrost. The compressor stops, and the fan runs until defrosting is complete. The indicator blinks slowly during defrosting and remains on when normal operation resumes. Factors influencing defrosting include ambient temperature, compressor temperature, and operation duration. This process takes a maximum of 8 minutes.
- Drying Function: After the dehumidifier is turned off, the fan continues to run at sleep mode speed for 40 minutes to speed up water evaporation. This helps reduce bacteria buildup and ensures accurate humidity readings. It is recommended to enable this function.
- Resetting Wi-Fi: Press and hold the ? and M buttons simultaneously for 7 seconds to reset the Wi-Fi connection. Note: If not connected to Wi-Fi within 30 minutes, transmission stops and the Wi-Fi symbol stops flashing.
Drainage
There are two ways to remove collected water:
- A. Manual draining: Empty the water tank manually.
- B. Continuous draining: Use gravity to drain condensate water by attaching a drain hose.
Continuous Water Drainage
- Pull the water tank out horizontally from the opening at the top.
- Remove the baffle board from the water tank and secure it onto the cover to prevent loss.
- Connect the drainage hose to the water outlet.
- Reinstall the water tank and connect the other end of the drainage hose to the drainage point. The dehumidifier will then drain water automatically.
6. Maintenance
Maintenance Precautions
- Before cleaning, disconnect the dehumidifier from power to avoid electric shocks.
- Do not rinse or submerge the dehumidifier in liquid. Do not drip water into the dehumidifier.
- Do not use volatile liquids (e.g., thinner, gasoline) to wipe the dehumidifier, as this may damage its appearance.
- Use a soft dry cloth and a wet cloth with neutral detergent to clean the dehumidifier's shell.
- Clean the filter regularly to prevent performance reduction due to dust buildup. Cleaning should be more frequent in dusty environments. After removing the filter, do not touch the finned parts inside the dehumidifier with your fingers to avoid cuts.
Cleaning the Dehumidifier
Soak a cloth in water below 45°C, wring it out, and use it to gently wipe over dirty areas.
Cleaning the Filter
- Pull the water tank out horizontally from the opening at the top of the water tank.
- Remove the air inlet grille, and then remove the inner air filter.
- Rinse the filter and the air inlet grille with water or use a vacuum cleaner. If the filter is particularly dirty (e.g., oil stains), use warm water (below 45°C) with neutral detergent and then dry it in a cool place.
- Reinstall the fully dried filter, the air inlet grille, and the water tank.
Cleaning the Water Tank
- Pull the water tank out horizontally from the opening at the top of the water tank.
- Lift the handle of the water tank and rotate it about 60° until the indicator line on the handle is horizontal. Apply slight force on the handle in the direction shown by the arrows. Take the left and right shafts of the handle out one at a time to remove the handle.
- Remove the cover of the water tank from the spout on the top right corner of the water tank.
- Clean the water tank and fully dry it. Then attach the cover and the handle to the water tank and reinstall the water tank.
When Not Use for a Long Time
Let the dehumidifier sit for two days after entering standby mode and unplugging it. Clean the dehumidifier, water tank, and filter. Coil up the power cord and secure it with a cable tie. Store the dehumidifier in its packaging, upright, in a dry and well-ventilated place.
