Getting Started: How to Use
Follow these steps for accurate blood pressure measurement:
1. Attaching the Cuff
Insert the air tube plug firmly into the air jack on the side of the monitor. Ensure it is securely connected.
2. Sitting Position
Sit on a chair with your feet flat on the floor. Rest your arm on a table or pillow so that the cuff is at the same level as your heart. Relax your body and remain still during measurement.
3. Applying the Cuff
Wrap the cuff snugly around your bare upper arm, about 1-2 cm above the elbow. The artery marker on the cuff should be on the inner side of your arm, aligned with your brachial artery. Ensure the cuff is not too tight or too loose. The display may show a 'Cuff Wrapping Guide' icon if the fit is incorrect.
4. Starting Measurement
Press the START/STOP button. The monitor will automatically inflate the cuff and begin the measurement. Remain still and do not speak during the measurement. The monitor will display the systolic, diastolic, and pulse readings once complete. Press the START/STOP button again to turn off the monitor.
