Carrier Platform

An ergonomic, lightweight platform that rotates and tilts for safe mounting on vehicles. It offers three rotation positions (-30°, 0°, +30°) enabling diagonal data collection and cross point cloud patterns, typically requiring a dual scanner system.

Modular Camera System

Seamlessly integrate up to four additional 24MP camera pairs. These can capture front, side, and pavement angles for detailed texture analysis and intrinsic calibration, creating seamless panorama imagery.

Butterfly Side Cameras

These cameras feature dual positions (vertical and horizontal) to capture high-resolution imagery of vertical features like arches for texturing and damage analysis, or horizontal elements such as traffic signs and civic numbers.

Optical DMI (Distance Measurement Instrument)

Complies with traffic safety regulations by mounting on the car's backside and not exceeding the vehicle silhouette. It avoids the standard slip error common in wheel-based DMIs.

Second GNSS Antenna

The software guides users through project set-up and planning based on accuracy requirements and the environment, offering predefined profiles for optimal results. Live feedback via audio and visual guidance ensures confident data acquisition.

Leica Cyclone Pegasus OFFICE

Offering a familiar user experience within the Cyclone software ecosystem, this component provides a seamless data flow into post-processing and publishing. It enables precise geo-referencing, multi-pass trajectory adjustment, and the creation of colorized 3D point clouds that are automatically privacy-compliant.

The system anonymizes people and vehicles in real-time, ensuring GDPR compliance and protecting citizen privacy. An integrated, real-time AI algorithm identifies and blurs complete objects directly in the imagery during data collection. All information is encrypted and remains on the Pegasus TRK system.

High-Quality Imagery

Featuring a SmartFusion 'butterfly' camera system with up to 120MP integral view, expandable with front, side, and rear pavement cameras. Enhanced calibration delivers true color imagery according to the CIEDE2000 color-difference formula, providing realistic visual data.

Precision Positioning

The sophisticated integration of IMU and SLAM technology enables georeferencing in challenging GNSS-denied environments. Precision RTK positioning provides centimeter-level accuracy in real-time. Trajectory is further improved with optical DMI accessories, accurately measuring travel distance in GNSS-challenging conditions and avoiding traditional slip errors.

Expandable Imaging System

The fully integrated modular imaging system allows for the addition of more cameras to capture more angles and details. Automatic camera calibration simplifies system set-up. Collecting data at up to eight frames per second ensures no details are missed.
