EcoHeat PRO Pressurized Solar Panels

Ferroli EcoHeat PRO are pressurized solar panels that operate by exchanging energy between the collector and the water in the reservoir. As the vacuum tubes absorb solar energy, the heatpipe transfers heat to the water in the reservoir. The liquid in the heatpipes turns into vapor, rises to the condenser, heat passes through the heat exchanger, and the vapors condense back into liquid, returning to the base of the heatpipe. This process continuously heats the cold water. The system is pressurized, supplying hot water under pressure without the need for a pump. It offers high efficiency due to an increased heat exchange surface area provided by the 18mm bulb heatpipe.

EcoSole Non-Pressurized Solar Panels

EcoSole non-pressurized solar panels for water heating rely on natural water circulation between the vacuum tubes and the water reservoir. As water in the vacuum tubes heats up, it naturally rises into the reservoir, while cooler water from the reservoir flows into the vacuum tubes, driving circulation throughout the system.

Ecotube NEW Evacuated Tube Solar Panels

Ecotube NEW are solar panels with heatpipe technology. They are available in three variants: Ecotube NEW 15 (15 vacuum tubes), Ecotube NEW 20 (20 vacuum tubes), and Ecotube NEW 25 (25 vacuum tubes). The selective coating on the inside of the vacuum tubes converts solar energy into thermal energy and transfers heat to the heatpipes via fins. The liquid in the heatpipes turns into vapor, rises to the condenser, heat passes through the heat exchanger, and the vapors condense back into liquid, returning to the base of the heatpipe. Heat is transferred to the heat transfer fluid (antifreeze or water) through the copper pipe. This heat transfer creates continuous circulation in the heatpipe as long as the collector is heated by the sun. Annual energy production in Wurzburg conditions is over 675 kWh/sqm.

Advantages:

  • No risk of freezing or bursting in winter (tubes do not contain water).
  • Compact structure, easily adaptable to mounting location.
  • Functions even if one or more tubes are broken.
  • Easy tube replacement.

SOLAREVO V Flat Plate Solar Collectors

SOLAREVO V is a flat plate solar collector with forced circulation, offering high efficiency. It is certified by Keymark Solar (EN 12975), recognized as one of the most efficient solar collectors on the market (η=80%). Key features include a highly selective absorber surface made of aluminum with titanium oxide treatment, a robust frame supported by two aluminum bars for neat and versatile installation, a double-walled aluminum profile (2.4 mm) ensuring durability and enhanced insulation, and prismatic tempered glass with high transparency (3.2 mm thickness). The collector utilizes a high-performance absorber with a copper harp structure welded by laser and an ultra-selective surface of 0.5 mm. Ecotronic Pro Electronic Controllers

Ecotronic Pro is specially designed for controlling pump speeds in high-efficiency solar and heating systems. It features two PWM outputs and an additional input for a Grundfos Direct Sensor™ VFD, enabling precise heat quantity measurement. Technical data includes 4 PT1000 temperature sensor inputs, 1 Grundfos Direct Sensor™ VFD input, 1 semiconductor relay output, 1 PWM output (512 Hz frequency, 10.5 V voltage), switching capacity up to 1(1) A at 100-240V, and total switching capacity of 1A at 240V. It operates on 100-240V, 50-60 Hz, with standby power consumption less than 1W. Functions include operation control, operating hour tachometer, speed regulation, drain-back option, and calorimeter. The housing is made of plastic (PC-ABS and PMMA) and can be wall-mounted or installed in a control panel. The display shows system status with 16-segment and 7-segment displays, plus 8 system status symbols. Control is via three front buttons. Protection type is IP 20 / EN 60529, protection class is I. Ambient temperature range is 0-40°C (32-104°F). Dimensions are 172 x 110 x 46 mm.

IDRO 12S Easy / IDRO 30 N Forced Circulation Groups

Characteristics: 3-speed circulation pump, installation filling/draining valve, thermometer, wall mounting kit, expanded polystyrene insulation, expansion vessel fixing ears, safety group with safety valve and manometer, and flow adjustment valve with visual indicator.

VFN Expansion Vessels

VFN are vertical expansion vessels designed for a maximum pressure of 10 bar. They are suitable for heating, cooling, potable water, and solar applications. Features include a fully welded body, an interchangeable high-quality rubber membrane compliant with DIN 4807-3, CE compliance for pressure vessels (97/23/CE, DIN EN 13881), maximum working temperature of 99°C, minimum working temperature of -10°C, continuous working temperature of 70°C, and a preset pressure of 2 bar.

Booster - Automatic Pump

The Booster WG automatic pump is used to increase water pressure in non-pressurized solar panels. The pump rotor only works with domestic water. The pump operation can be adjusted using the switch: "O" - OFF, "I" - MANUAL Mode, "II" - AUTO Mode. It is primarily used to increase cold or hot water pressure for domestic use. Water temperature should not exceed 80°C during operation.

Notes

Electric Heater

For pressurized/non-pressurized solar panels (EcoHeat/EcoSole models). Due to climatic changes, for example, when sunlight is weak, you can use the electric resistance to heat the water in the collector. If installing the electric resistance without connecting it to a controller, ensure it is equipped with a residual current device (overvoltage protection) for safe use. Remember to turn it off before showering. Washing or taking a bath with electrical appliances nearby is strictly prohibited.

Antifreeze -30°C

Antifreeze -30°C is intended for pressurized solar installations. Applications include improving heat transfer in radiators, air conditioning units, and heating, reducing friction by 45%, and providing flocculant, anti-limescale, anti-algae, and anti-freeze effects. To use, introduce it into the installation as is. For applications with a special freezing point, the product can be supplied upon request.
