Rechargeable Battery
The unit features a built-in rechargeable battery pack for cordless use. The battery pack is not user-serviceable. For optimal battery life, charge the unit monthly. When the "Singing Machine" logo flashes red and beeps, charge the unit:
- Connect the included USB cable to the USB Type-C port on the rear of the unit and plug the other end into a computer USB port or other USB charging device.
- Allow approximately 8 hours for a full charge. The "Singing Machine" logo will turn green when fully charged.
- Disconnect the USB cable. The fully charged unit can be used for approximately 5 hours, depending on the function used.
Note: The unit cannot be turned on if the battery level is too low. Charging for about 5 minutes is suggested to allow initial use. The sound volume may adjust automatically when the battery is not full.
Recycling and Disposal Information: Do not dispose of electronic devices, including batteries and LCD displays, in municipal trash. Consult local waste management authorities or recycling organizations for proper disposal.
Caution: Rechargeable batteries must be recycled or disposed of properly.
Warnings
Caution: Risk of Electric Shock. Do Not Open. Refer servicing to qualified personnel. The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol indicates dangerous voltage. The exclamation point symbol alerts to important operating and maintenance instructions.
Dripping Warning: Do not expose the product to dripping or splashing liquids.
Ventilation Warning: Do not impede ventilation openings.
General Warnings:
- Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
- This equipment complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: it may not cause harmful interference, and it must accept any interference received.
- This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in residential installations.
- If interference occurs, try reorienting the receiving antenna, increasing separation between equipment and receiver, connecting to a different outlet, or consulting a dealer/technician.

Troubleshooting Guide
No Power
- Press the [power] button.
- Charge the unit.
- Ensure the USB cable is securely connected.
- Connect to a different outlet.
- Restart the product to resume normal operation if affected by strong electro-magnetic interference.
No Sound - General
- Increase Master Volume.
- Unplug cable from LINE IN jack to select Bluetooth.
- If using an external device, raise its volume.
No sound from the microphone
- Replace microphone batteries.
- Ensure the microphone is turned on.
- Increase MIC VOLUME.
The Bluetooth device cannot be paired or connected
- Activate Bluetooth function on your device.
- Turn off other Bluetooth devices.
- Press the [pairing] button to restart pairing.
Music is not available on the unit after connecting Bluetooth
- Ensure your Bluetooth device supports the A2DP profile.
- Raise the volume on the external Bluetooth device or unmute it.
- Ensure your music application is open.

Making the Connections
BATTERY OPERATION FOR WIRELESS MICROPHONE
- Slide the battery door in the direction of the arrow to reveal the battery compartment.
- Replace batteries with 2 x "AA" size/LR6 batteries (not included).
- Replace cover tightly before operating.
Notes:
- Working distance of up to 66 feet/20 meters in open space.
- If there is no audio input for 20 minutes, the wireless mic connection will automatically turn off. Press the [power] button to reactivate.
- When microphone batteries are low, the battery indicator will flash. Replace batteries as above.
Caution: Replace all batteries at the same time. Do not mix old and new batteries.
Battery Precautions: Follow specified battery size and type, ensure correct polarity, do not mix battery types or old/new batteries, remove batteries for long periods of non-use, do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries, remove rechargeable batteries before charging, charge rechargeable batteries under adult supervision, remove exhausted batteries, do not expose batteries to excessive heat.
Connect the wired microphone (not included) into Mic jack 1.
Connect the external unit to the AUX IN jack 2. The Aux In function is automatically selected. You can also record and playback your singing and the music.
Notes: Set external unit volume to 1/3 or lower to avoid distortion. Track skipping is not possible from this unit when using an external device.
CONNECTING TO POWER
Insert the USB cable into the USB Type-C port on the rear of the unit and plug the other end into a computer USB port or other USB charging device.
Note: If the unit is unresponsive, use a pin to press the reset button located inside the AUX IN jack.
Energy Saving Mode (Auto Power System-APS): The unit will automatically turn off after 20 minutes of inactivity. Press the [power] button to resume use. APS is for energy saving.
Operation
- Press the [power] button to turn the unit on. Light mode 1 is activated, synchronizing lights with sound. Press the [power] button for Light mode 2 (lights only, no sound response). Press the [power] button again to turn off lights. Press and hold the [power] button to turn the unit off.
- Voice Effects: Press the [VOICE EFFECTS] button to select different vocal effects. The mic guy icon light indicates the selected effect:
- Lime light - CHIPMUNK
- Orange light - MALE
- Pink light - FEMALE
- Blue light - RADIO
- Cyan light - ROBOT
- Purple light - ECHO
Select white (NONE) to sing without voice effects.
- Press the [+] or [-] buttons to adjust the volume of both microphones.
- When the unit is on and no cable is connected to AUX IN, it automatically searches for and pairs a previously paired Bluetooth device. If none are present, press the [pairing] button to disconnect existing pairs for new pairing. Turn on your device's Bluetooth, search for "SINGING MACHINE", and select it.
Notes: Refer to your Bluetooth device's manual for pairing. Enter "0000" if a passcode is required. Select "Use as Audio Device" if prompted. If connection is lost, ensure the device is within 30 feet/10 meters. A solid light and chime indicate successful pairing.
- Press the VOCALS OFF button to remove the lead singer from the recording. Press again to restore. (Note: Vocal off function may vary by song.)
- During music playback, press the RECORD button to record your singing and the music. The mic guy icon flashes red. Press RECORD again to stop. The unit can record for 260 seconds. Recording stops automatically after 260 seconds.
Notes: Each new recording deletes the previous one. Ensure volume is not set to minimum when recording.
- To playback your recording, press the RECORD PLAYBACK button. The mic guy icon turns solid red. Press again to stop. Press and hold to clear the recording.
- To control your Bluetooth device, press the [play] button to start playback (music app must be open). Press [pause] to pause. Press the [next track] or [previous track] buttons to navigate tracks.
- Adjust volume using the [+] or [-] buttons on the unit and on your Bluetooth device.
RF warning for Portable device
The device has been evaluated to meet general RF exposure requirements and can be used in portable exposure conditions without restriction.
