Samsung Global Launch Summer 2025 Game Regulations

Article 1 – Game Organizer

Samsung Electronics France, a simplified joint-stock company with a capital of 27,000,000 euros, registered with the RCS of Bobigny under number B 334 367 497, with its registered office at 6 rue Fructidor, 93484 Saint-Ouen Cedex (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizing Company"), is organizing from June 24, 2025 (inclusive) to July 8, 2025 (inclusive) (Paris time being authoritative) (hereinafter referred to as the "Game Period") on samsung.com (hereinafter referred to as the "Site(s)") a Game/Contest titled "Samsung Global Launch Summer 2025" (hereinafter referred to as the "Game") according to the terms and conditions described in this regulation (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulation").

Article 2 – Conditions and Validity of Participation

Participation in the Game implies unconditional acceptance of the Regulation. It is free and without obligation to purchase. The Regulation will be made available to participants (as defined below) via the Site.

Participation in the Game is exclusively open to individuals who are of legal age at the date of their participation and residing in metropolitan France (including Corsica) (hereinafter referred to as the "Participant(s)"), excluding employees and permanent and temporary collaborators of the Organizing Company and their families, and more generally any person who has participated directly or indirectly in the organization of the Game.

Only one participation per Participant is allowed. Participants must manually and personally validate their participation. It is forbidden to participate with multiple accounts linked to the same physical person, or to participate with an account opened for another person.

The Organizing Company reserves the right to carry out, directly or indirectly, all necessary verifications to control, by any means, the identity, age, address, status, and/or number of participations of the Participants, which each Participant expressly accepts.

Any fraud or breach of the Regulation will result in the Participant's exclusion from the Game and the cancellation of all their participations.

Any attempt by an individual, whether participating in the Game or not, to harm the Game's progress, as well as any fraud, attempted fraud, or unfair participation, committed to unduly receive a prize, may lead to exclusion from the Game and, where applicable, to legal proceedings by the Organizing Company.

Contributions to the Game presenting, in particular, but not exclusively, the following content are prohibited:

• Off-topic, not respecting the theme of the Game, likely to cause controversy, excessively provocative, or not constructive.
• Infringing human dignity.
• Sexually explicit or suggestive, pornographic, erotic, or pedophilic, and notably displaying total or partial nudity.
• Glorifying crimes against life, physical integrity, and sexual assaults as defined by Book II of the Penal Code (rape, indecent assault, public indecency, moral offense, sexual harassment...).
• Glorifying terrorism, war crimes, crimes against humanity, or crimes or offenses of any nature whatsoever.
• Discriminatory, hateful, or violent towards a person or group of people based on their origin, affiliation or non-affiliation, whether true or supposed, to an ethnic group, nation, race, sexual orientation, profession, age category, or determined religion.
• Defamatory, insulting, slanderous, racist, xenophobic, negationist, or denigrating towards third parties, natural or legal persons, including the Organizing Company, its products, or its brands.
• Infringing the privacy, image, honor, or reputation of any third party, participant or not.
• Infringing the intellectual or industrial property rights of a third party, particularly in the presence of unauthorized excerpts or plagiarism.
• Promoting a political program, party, or activities.
• Including vulgar, obscene, or inappropriate language contrary to the image and values of the Organizing Company.
• Contrary to legislation on tobacco, alcohol, drugs, weapons, or any other regulated communication.
• And, generally, contrary to current legislation.

Any Participant not respecting these prohibitions will be immediately eliminated from the Game.

Participants guarantee the Organizing Company against any claim, action for liability, damages, losses, or expenses (including legitimate legal fees) incurred or related to the violation of any of the guarantees or commitments made under the Regulation.

Article 3 – Game Principle and Modalities

3.1 - Game Modalities

The game is organized on the occasion of the launches of new Samsung products. The game will take place from June 24 to July 8, 2025.

Participants can participate in the Game during the Game Period via the Site.

To participate in the Game, the Participant must:

• Click on an email communication, push notification or Whatsapp, a content from the site, or a link present on social networks, or content from the Samsung Shop or Samsung Members application.
• Read the Game Regulations and accept them;
• Complete the form;
• Click to send.

Completing these steps constitutes participation and acceptance of the Regulation by the Participant.

3.2 - Prize Draw

20 winners will be drawn on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, from all entries registered during the Game Period and compliant with the Regulation. The draw will be conducted by the Organizing Company or any person designated by it for this purpose.

Article 4 – Winner Announcement

Winners will be contacted via the email address provided on the game form within 48 hours of July 9, 2025, to inform them of their win and communicate their prize as defined below.

Unsuccessful Participants will not be informed.

Article 5 – Prizes

5.1 - The Prize

The prizes for the Game (hereinafter referred to as the "Prize") are as follows:

• 20 x 1 promotional code allowing a €1000 immediate discount valid on samsung.com

These promotional codes will allow a €1000 immediate discount for the purchase of one of the new Samsung Galaxy smartphones on samsung.com (all models, all colors) from July 9 to August 17, 2025, inclusive, by entering the code at checkout on the samsung.com site and the Samsung Shop application.

The awarding of a Prize does not give rise to any dispute or claim for any reason whatsoever, nor to the Participant receiving its equivalent in any form whatsoever, nor to its replacement, exchange, or transfer to a third party.

The Organizing Company reserves the right to replace the Prizes, in whole or in part, with other prizes of equivalent nature, if circumstances beyond its control so require, without incurring liability.

5.2 - Prize Delivery

The Prize will be sent by email.

Article 6 – Limitation of Liability

The Organizing Company shall not be held responsible for any event not attributable to it, particularly in the event of telephone line malfunction, Site unavailability, Internet network malfunctions, Participant's computer failures, or any other problem related to communication networks and means (access providers, viruses, faulty or incompatible computer equipment or software, etc.) or in the event that the information provided by the Participant is erroneous, incomplete, or rendered unusable for reasons not attributable to the Organizing Company.

The Organizing Company shall not be held responsible in the event that a Participant cannot connect to the Site due to any technical defect or any problem related, in particular, to network congestion. It cannot be held responsible for the maintenance or any malfunction of the servers on which the Site and/or the Game/Contest is hosted.

Participants are responsible for taking all appropriate measures to protect their data and/or software. Connection of any person to the Site and participation in the Game are under the sole responsibility of the Participants.

The Organizing Company shall not be held responsible in case of theft, misdelivery of mail, or damage to the Prizes by postal services. The Organizing Company's liability cannot be sought in the event of incidents that may occur due to the use or non-use of the Prize.

The Organizing Company is not required to respond to Participants' requests, in whatever form (letters, emails, faxes, phone calls, etc.) relating to the Game's mechanism, the interpretation or application of the Regulation, or the list of winners, even after the Game has ended.

By agreeing to participate in the Game, each Participant is deemed to have accepted the Regulation and fully and unconditionally discharges the Organizing Company from any liability related to the Game, as well as any prejudice, loss, or damage that may occur as a result of participation in the Game or in connection therewith.

The Organizing Company shall not incur any liability whatsoever if it is led to cancel, shorten, extend, postpone, or modify the conditions of participation and the operating procedures of the Game.

Any change will be subject to prior notification by any appropriate means. Addenda and modifications to the Regulation may then be published during the Game. They will be considered as amendments to this Regulation and, as such, will have the same value as if they had been published in the initial version of the Regulation.

Article 7 – Protection of Personal Data

7.1 Automated Data Processing

During their participation in the Game, regardless of the medium, Participants provide a certain amount of personal information.

The information collected includes identification data (e.g., name, surname, address, email). Depending on the Game or the Prize, other types of data may be requested (e.g., date of birth, valid ID, passport, etc.).

This data collected within the framework of the Game is subject to automated processing by the Organizing Company.

7.2 Purposes of Processing

The data is processed by the Organizing Company for the organization of the Game.

The following processing operations are necessary for the organization of the Game by the Organizing Company:

• a) validation of participation in the Game (verification of the candidate's eligibility according to the criteria requested for the Game as indicated in the Regulation)
• b) communication between the Organizing Company and the Participants, including informing Winners of the results
• c) delivery or sending of Prizes

The Organizing Company informs Participants, at the time of data collection, which information is necessary to provide to participate in the Game. In a collection form, the necessary information is marked with an asterisk.

Subject to your prior consent, the data may be used for the following purpose:

• d) sending commercial offers from the Organizing Company

Finally, in accordance with the legitimate interests of the Organizing Company, the data is collected for the following purposes:

• e) checking compliance with the Regulation's conditions and combating fraud. This may include, but is not limited to, checking the limitation of the number of participations per person, ensuring compliance with a period of abstention indicated in the Regulation, or ensuring compliance with a ban on participation in a Game, in cases where a person who has defrauded or attempted to defraud has been banned from participation as provided for by the Regulation.

7.3 Communication of Data to Authorized Service Providers

Data is only accessible to persons who need to know it for the organization of the Game.

Data may be transmitted to authorized service providers for the following purposes:

• management of the Game's organization by a service provider on behalf of the Organizing Company;
• prize draw by independent third parties (e.g., bailiffs) or a service provider;
• delivery of Prizes to winners (e.g., by mail) and organization of certain Prizes by our partners (e.g., organization of trips, meetings with personalities, invitations to events).

Data may be transmitted to third parties upon request from judicial, administrative, or fiscal authorities justified by a regulatory or legal provision.

7.4 Data Retention Period

Personal data concerning Participants and/or Winners of the Game are kept for the purposes mentioned in points a) to e) of Article 7.2 for a period of 3 (three) years from the date of participation in the Game.

Beyond this period, the data of Participants and/or Winners are archived for an additional period of 2 (two) years, for evidentiary purposes in case of litigation related to the conduct of the Game.

7.5 Rights of Data Subjects

In accordance with Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, as amended, relating to information technology, files, and freedoms, in its latest version in force, and Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, relating to the protection of personal data ("Applicable Data Protection Regulation"), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your personal data. You also have the right to object for legitimate reasons to the processing carried out or to request its limitation.

Article 8 – Publicity and Promotion of Winners

By their sole participation in the Game, the Winners expressly authorize the Organizing Company to use, on any medium, by any means, and for the duration it deems appropriate, their names, surnames, cities of residence, as well as the photographs representing them, in order to ensure communication relating to the Game Winners and the promotion of the Organizing Company's games, for a period not exceeding three years from the closing of the Game Period, without this conferring any right to remuneration, compensation, or additional benefit on the interested parties other than the awarding of the prizes they have won in the context of the Game.

If a Winner objects to the use of their data, they must inform the Organizing Company without delay by sending an email to the address indicated in this Regulation.

Article 9 – Deposit and Consultation of the Regulation

This Regulation can be consulted and downloaded free of charge online at the following link: https://www.samsung.com/fr/.

Article 10 – Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

The Game and its Regulation are subject to French law.

Any dispute arising from the execution of the Regulation shall be resolved primarily amicably between the Organizing Company and the concerned Participant.

Claims or disputes arising from the interpretation or execution of the Regulation must be submitted by the Participant to the Organizing Company, within one (1) month from the participation deadline indicated in the Regulation, by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt addressed to:

In the absence of an amicable agreement, any dispute will be brought before the competent French courts.
