Introduction

This Air Fryer Oven cooks using very little or no cooking oil for healthier cooking. If a little oil is required for extra browning, use a moderate amount of spray type cooking oil. The Air Fryer Oven will quickly cook your food using a rapid cycling airflow of hot air.

Important Safety Instructions

Read and familiarise yourself with all operating instructions before using this Air Fryer Oven.

  • Before plugging in, visually check the unit for transit damage.
  • Check that the voltage on the data plate matches the local network.
  • DO NOT use with programmers, timers, or remote controls.
  • DO NOT immerse in water or other liquids.
  • Position on a stable, level, non-flammable surface.
  • DO NOT touch hot surfaces. Always use handles.
  • Use oven gloves.
  • Close supervision is required near children.
  • Keep out of reach of children under 8 years.
  • Do not leave unattended during use or when connected to mains.
  • DO NOT use outdoors.
  • Unplug after use, grasp the plug, not the cord.
  • DO NOT cover the appliance.
  • Never place on an electric, gas, or other type of hob.
  • WARNING: Do not attempt to move while hot. Turn off, disconnect, and let cool.
  • WARNING: Hot steam may be released. Risk of scalding!
  • WARNING: Always carry with both hands and use oven gloves. Burn hazard!
  • THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED.

Additional Safety Information

Ensure the Air Fryer is used in an open, well-ventilated area, away from other appliances and obstructions.

Do not use near combustible materials like plastics, curtains, or cupboards.

Maintain at least 10cm free space on the back, sides, and above the appliance. Do not place anything on top.

The rear air vent outlets must be kept clear of obstructions and flammable materials. The vent should be at least 230mm (9 inches) away from any obstruction.

A spacer is fitted to the back of the unit to prevent it from being positioned too close to the wall, ensuring sufficient ventilation.

Description of Controls

Timer Display (8): Shows current/set time and remaining cooking time.

Temperature Display (15): Shows current/set temperature.

Control Dial (1): Rotate to select pre-sets; press to start/pause cooking. Illuminates red during cooking, blue when not.

Set Timer (11): Set in 1-minute increments (up to 120 mins) or 10-minute increments (up to 8 hours in Dehydrating mode). Rotate Control Dial (1) to adjust.

Set Temperature (12): Set in 10°C increments (40°C to 230°C) or 5°C increments (50°C to 70°C in Dehydrating mode). Rotate Control Dial (1) to adjust.

Cooking Pre-sets

Rotate Control Dial (1) to select a pre-set. Time and temperature are automatic. Press Control Dial (1) or Power Button (16) to start. Internal Light (10) stays on for 1 minute.

Pre-sets can be overridden using Set Time (11) and Set Temperature (12) buttons. Grill Function (13) and Oven Function (14) can also be selected.

Operation

Before First Use

  • Remove all packing materials.
  • Ensure all parts are present.
  • Check mains cable and product for damage.
  • Clean the Air Fryer with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
  • Wash accessories (17-20) in warm soapy water, rinse, and dry.
  • A slight smoke/odour on first use is normal due to manufacturing grease.

Cooking with Your Air Fryer Oven

Place the air fryer on a solid, level, heat-resistant surface, clear of obstructions. Insert the mains plug.

Cooking Using the Mesh Trays (20)

  1. Place the Drip Tray (17) at the bottom to catch drips.
  2. Slide Mesh Trays (20) into place.
  3. Place food onto Mesh Trays (20) for larger items like sausages, chops, vegetables, chicken pieces, etc.
  4. Close the Air Fryer Door (4). Press the Power Button (16) to power up.
  5. Select a Cooking Pre-set using the Control Dial (1) or override with Set Time (11) and Set Temperature (12) buttons. Press Control Dial (1) or Power Button (16) to start.

Note: The Door (4) can be opened anytime to check progress or turn/shake ingredients. Oven gloves are recommended for handling trays. The fan runs for 1 minute after cooking to cool down.

Using the Rotisserie Skewer (19)

Attach the Rotisserie Skewer (19) to food (e.g., chicken, joint of meat) by pushing the bar through the food so it protrudes at both ends, positioning the food centrally.

Push the Fork onto the end of the bar, slide it along, and insert into the food. Tighten the screw.

Repeat for the other end to secure the food centrally.

Insert the assembled Rotisserie Skewer (19) into the Air Fryer using the Rotisserie Skewer Tongs (18). Ensure the notches in the skewer bar face the left side.

Note: The Drip Tray (17) should be at the bottom of the Air Fryer.

Operation Steps:

  1. Install Rotisserie Skewer (19), place Drip Tray (17) at the bottom, close Door (4).
  2. Press Power Button (16).
  3. Select Pre-set using Control Dial (1) or override with Time/Temp buttons. Press Control Dial (1) or Power Button (16) to start.
  4. Press Rotisserie Function (9) to start skewer rotation. Ensure it rotates freely.
  5. Alternatively, override pre-sets with Time (11) and Temperature (12) buttons, and Control Dial (1). Grill (13) and Oven (14) functions can also be selected.

WARNING: Handle Rotisserie Skewer or Mesh trays with care. Place on a heat-proof surface.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Always unplug and allow the Air Fryer to cool before cleaning.
  • DO NOT submerge the main body, cable, or plug in water or liquids.
  • Clean after each use. Accessories are stainless steel and dishwasher safe.
  • Never use harsh or abrasive cleaners.
  • Soak stubborn food in warm soapy water, rinse, and dry.
  • Wipe the main body and viewing window with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Clean the inside with hot water, mild detergent, and a non-abrasive sponge.
  • Allow to dry thoroughly before re-use.

Non-Rewireable Mains Plug

If the plug needs fuse replacement, use an ASTA approved fuse of the same rating. Never use a plug with a missing fuse cover. Consult an electrician if unsure.

To remove the plug: DISCONNECT FROM THE MAINS, cut the cord, and dispose of safely. Never reuse or insert into a socket.

Recipes

1. Asian Spicy Fries

Ingredients: Potato (x4 / 600g), Oil (2 tsp), Salt (1 tsp), Pepper powder (1 tsp), Shallot powder (1 tsp), Red chili powder (½ tsp).

Instructions:

  • Peel and cut potatoes into strips.
  • Soak strips in salt water for at least 20 mins, then dry with kitchen paper.
  • Mix shallot, salt, pepper, garlic powder/oil, and chili powder. Stir into potato strips.
  • Preheat air fryer to 180°C for 5 minutes.
  • Place strips onto Mesh Trays. Cook for 15-20 minutes (or until golden brown).

2. Golden Chicken Wings

Ingredients: Chicken wings (500g), Garlic (x2), Ginger powder (2 tsp), Cumin powder (1 tsp), Black pepper powder (1 tsp), Sweet chili sauce (100 mg).

Instructions:

  • Preheat air fryer to 200°C for 5 minutes.
  • Mix garlic, ginger, cumin, black pepper, and salt. Coat chicken wings.
  • Allow wings to stand for 20 minutes.
  • Place wings onto Mesh Trays. Cook for 15-20 minutes at 200°C.

3. Fried Chicken Nuggets

Ingredients: Fresh chicken nuggets (500g), Eggs (x3), Flour (1 cup), Olive oil (1 spoon), White pepper powder (1 tsp).

Instructions:

  • Preheat air fryer to 200°C for 5 minutes.
  • Mix eggs, flour, olive oil, white pepper, and salt. Coat nuggets.
  • Allow nuggets to stand for 20 minutes.
  • Place nuggets onto Mesh Trays. Cook for 15-20 minutes at 200°C.

4. Fried Squid

Ingredients: Squid (Frozen, 500g), Oil (2 tbsp), Salt (1 tsp), Cumin powder (1 tsp), Chicken powder (1 tsp), Pepper powder (1 tsp).

Instructions:

  • Preheat air fryer to 200°C for 5 minutes.
  • Mix seasoning. Coat squid and allow to stand for 20 minutes.
  • Place squid onto Mesh Trays. Cook for 12-15 minutes at 200°C (or until golden brown).

5. Spicy Shrimp

Ingredients: Unfrozen prawns (x10), Oil (2 tsp), Garlic finely chopped (x1), Black pepper (1 tsp), Chili powder (1 tsp), Sweet chili sauce (100 mg).

Instructions:

  • Preheat air fryer to 200°C for 5 minutes.
  • Rinse prawns.
  • Apply a thin layer of salad oil to prawns. Place onto Mesh Trays. Cook for 5-8 minutes at 200°C (or until golden crunchy).
