Keychron Max Series User Manual
Product Overview
This manual covers the Keychron Q Max series, V Max series, and K Max series keyboards.
Indicator Lights:
- Power Indicator: Indicates power status.
- Bluetooth Indicator: Indicates Bluetooth connection status. On small keyboards, these are located on Q/W/E keys.
- 2.4 GHz Indicator: Indicates 2.4 GHz connection status. On small keyboards, this is located on the R key.
- Connection Mode Toggle: Switches between 2.4G, Cable, and Bluetooth modes.
- Win / Android Mac / iOS (OS Toggle): Switches between operating system modes.
- Caps Lock Indicator: Indicates the status of the Caps Lock key.
Ports:
- Type-C Port: For wired connection and charging.
Connectivity Options
Connect 2.4 GHz Receiver
1. Connect the 2.4 GHz receiver to a USB port on your device.
2. Switch the toggle to the 2.4 GHz mode (indicated by 'G').
Connect Bluetooth
1. Switch the toggle to Bluetooth mode (indicated by 'BT' or a Bluetooth symbol ?).
2. Pair with the Bluetooth device using the key combination: fn / fn1 + Bluetooth channel key (e.g., fn + 1 on the Q6 Max keyboard).
Note: The keyboard supports pairing with up to 3 devices simultaneously via the key combinations fn + 1/2/3 (or fn1 + Q/W/E).
Connect Cable
1. Connect the keyboard using the provided Type-C cable.
2. Switch the toggle to Cable mode.
Keychron Launcher App
Enhance your keyboard experience by visiting launcher.keychron.com to remap keys, create macros, or flash firmware.
Note: The online Launcher requires a wired connection and is compatible with the latest versions of Chrome, Edge, or Opera browsers.

Charging: Use a 5V 1A adapter or USB 3.0 for optimal performance. The product supports up to 5V charging voltage and 1A charging current. Keychron is not responsible for issues arising from improper charging.
Factory Reset
To perform a factory reset, press and hold fn / fn1 + J + Z for 4 seconds. The keyboard backlight will flash red for 3 seconds, confirming the reset.
