Operations
- Calibration: Wash the electrode with pure water and shake off the water on the electrode, place it into 50.0 mS calibration solution, stir it after stirring until the reading is stable. Repeat the above operation several times until the reading value is displayed repeatedly. Press the key for about 2 seconds until the icon "CAL" appears on LCD, then “50.0 mS” is twinkling. The calibration is done after several seconds.
- Measurement: Wash the electrode with pure water and shake off the water on the electrode, place it into the sample solution, stir it after stirring, and take the reading when the value is stable.
- Wash the electrode with pure water and shake off the water on the electrode, then replace the electrode cap on it.
Notes
- The meter has been calibrated before delivery. Generally, user can use it directly. Under normal situations, calibrate once every 1-2 months.
- If the electrode is stained, please clean it by warm water with detergent or alcohol. Please do not wipe it to avoid damaging the platinum black coating on the electrode surface.
- The meter is automatically power off under no-operation condition next 10 minutes.
- Please replace the battery when the icon ? appears on LCD.
Warranty
Apera Instruments warrants this instrument to be free from defects in material and workmanship and agrees to repair or replace free of charge, at the option of APERA INSTRUMENTS (Europe) GmbH, any malfunctioned or damaged product attributable to the responsibility of APERA INSTRUMENTS (Europe) GmbH for a period of two years from the delivery (a six-month limited warranty applies to probes). This warranty does not apply to defects resulting from actions such as misuse (violation of the instructions in this manual or operations in the manner not specified in this manual), improper maintenance, and unauthorized repairs. Warranty period is the time limit to provide free service for the products purchased by customers, not the service life of the tester or probe.
