Sonoff SC User Guide
Hi, welcome to use Sonoff SC! Sonoff SC detects current temperature, humidity, light intensity, air quality (particulate) and sound levels (noise pollution), and directly sends real-time data to the iOS/Android APP EWeLink. It supports micro USB 5V power supply.
1. Download “eWeLink” app
Search "eWeLink" in the App Store for the iOS version or Google Play for the Android version.

2. Power up
Sonoff SC supports 5V USB power input. Simply plug the micro USB cable into the USB port.

3. Add device
3.1 Enter WiFi pairing state
Press the black button for 7 seconds until the LED blinks 3 times and stays on repeatedly. [LED indicator]
3.2 Select pairing method
For Android users, please select the 1st icon [Add icon], then click next. For iOS users, you will see two pairing method icons to select; please select the icon accordingly, then click next. The App will auto-search the device.
Visual Description: A large plus icon is displayed, representing the action to add a device. Another icon shows a Wi-Fi symbol with signal waves, indicating auto-search.
3.3 Input your home SSID & password
If your Wi-Fi network has no password, keep the password field blank.
Visual Description: A progress bar graphic indicates "It takes 3 minutes, please wait... searching device...".
3.4 Device registration
eWeLink only supports the 2.4G WiFi communication protocol; 5G-WiFi routers are not supported.
Next, the device will be registered by eWeLink and added to your account. This process takes 1-3 minutes. Once it is being added, the light will stay on.
Name the device to complete the setup.
If the device appears "Offline" on eWeLink, it needs about 1 minute to connect to your router and server. When the green LED is on, the device is "Online". If eWeLink still shows "Offline", please close and re-open eWeLink.
Visual Description: A circular graphic with two eyes and a mouth is shown.
4. APP features
4.1 Real-time data display
The app displays real-time temperature, humidity, light intensity, air quality (particulate), and sound levels.

- Noise: Status "Normal"
- Humidity: 41%, Status "Normal"
- Temperature: 22°C, Status "Comfortable"
- Light: Status "Dusky"
- Air quality: Status "Good"
Below the gauges, a "Share" button [Share icon] is visible. The device information is displayed as "Manufacturer: Maker, Model: Sonoff SC" with an information icon [Information icon].
Summary of readings:

4.2 Smart Scene
Sonoff SC supports setting up various smart scenes to trigger on/off other devices. You can set one or more conditions. When temperature, humidity, light, noise, or air quality goes lower or higher than the preset level, it will trigger the specified action for the target device (such as another Sonoff device).
To create a scene: Go to the device list, tap the upper right corner, then tap "Scene". Click the "+" [Add icon] to add a scene. Input a name for the new scene and add trigger conditions. Select the Sonoff SC as the trigger device and save. Next, enter the triggered device's action (e.g., ON or OFF) and save it. Finally, save your scene.
Visual Description: The "Add Condition" screen is shown. Options include "Click to execute" and "Trigger Device". Under "Trigger Device", "Sonoff SC" is selected. A list of environmental parameters (Temperature, Humidity, Light, Air quality, Noise) is presented for setting conditions. A "SAVE" button is at the bottom.
Visual Description: The "Edit Scene" screen is shown. A scene named "SC scene" is being configured. Conditions under "When it meets: Sonoff SC" include "Light≥Dusky", "Temperature ≥36", and "Air quality≥Good". Under "Execute:", actions like "Open电机正反转" and "Open点动" are listed, each with a remove button [Remove button]. A "SAVE" button is at the bottom.
5. Share Control
The owner can share devices to other eWeLink accounts. For sharing to be successful, both the owner and the recipient must be online on eWeLink. If the recipient's account is not online, they will not receive the invitation message.
To share: Click "Share", input the eWeLink account (phone number or email address) you want to share with. Select the timer permissions (edit/delete/change/enable) you wish to grant, then click "Next". The other account will receive an invitation message. Click "Accept" to complete the device sharing. The other user will then have access to control the device.
Visual Description: A circular icon representing sharing is displayed.
6. Security mechanism
Each device has one owner. Other users cannot add devices that have already been added to an account.
7. Update
The device will automatically remind you of new firmware or version updates. Please update as soon as possible.
8. Problems and solutions
Read the detailed FAQ on the Itead Smart Home Forum. If the answers below do not solve your problem, please submit feedback on eWeLink.
1. My device has added successfully but stays "Offline".
Answers: The newly added device requires 1-2 minutes to connect to your router and the Internet. If it stays offline for an extended period, please assess the problem based on the green LED status:
- 1.1. Green LED quickly blinks once and repeats: This indicates the device failed to connect to the router. Possible reasons include entering the wrong WiFi password, the device being too far from the router (weak WiFi signal), or the device not being compatible with a 5G-WiFi router (only 2.4G-WiFi is supported). Ensure your router is MAC-open.
- 1.2. Green LED slowly blinks once and repeats: The device has connected to the router and server but failed to be added to the device list. Power cycle the device again; if it still doesn't work, try adding the device again.
- 1.3. Green LED quickly blinks twice and repeats: The device has connected to the router but failed to connect to the server. Please confirm your WiFi router is functioning normally.
2. Why can't the APP find the device in pairing status?
Answers: This is likely due to your phone's cache. Please close your phone's WLAN and reopen it after a minute. Simultaneously, restart your Sonoff SC device.
3. My WiFi is expired, can I connect the devices to LAN?
Answers: Currently, this product does not support LAN connections or connecting to a hotspot. All devices must connect to a router to communicate with the Internet via the cloud server.
4. The green LED stays off, even if the device is powered on. Pressing the button does not work.
Answers: The circuit may be broken. Please send the device back for testing. Return shipping postage and packaging will be at the buyer's expense. If the device is damaged by the buyer, the buyer will bear the extra repair cost.
