Component Diagram and Specifications

The diagram illustrates an exploded view of the ACERA RD-M3020 (SGS) rear derailleur. Key torque specifications are indicated:

  • 2.5 - 5 N·m [torque]
  • 6 - 7 N·m [torque]
  • 8 - 10 N·m [torque]
Required tools are also shown:
  • 3 mm hexagon wrench [hex wrench]
  • 5 mm hexagon wrench [hex wrench]
The main derailleur body is shown with various components. Item 1 is the B-axle assembly. Item 2 is the B-tension adjusting screw. Item 3 is the cable fixing screw (M5 x 8.1) and plate. Item 4 are stroke adjusting screws (M4 x 13) and plate. Item 5 is the cable adjustment barrel unit. Item 6 are pulley screws (13.7 mm, 2 pcs.). Item 7 is the tension and guide pulley set. Item 8 is the inner plate.
