1. Information for Users

Thank you for choosing the AstroPet Smart Cat Toilet. Prior to its use, we kindly ask you to thoroughly review the accompanying manual. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Wishing you utmost satisfaction and a joyful living experience with our product!

Attention:

• This product can only be operated in accordance with the guidelines in this manual. Any operation outside these guidelines may cause abnormalities to the device.
• Young pets younger than 6 months or weighing less than 1.5 KG are not allowed to use this device.
• Children under 8 years old are not allowed to operate this device. Children over 8 years old should use it only under adult supervision.
• Please use this device indoors only. Avoid direct sunlight and keep it away from fire sources.
• This product operates on a low voltage. However, damage to the wire, such as by pets tearing it, can cause leakage. Please place the power cord in a secure location to avoid accidental damage.
• Ensure the device is always kept horizontal and do not tilt it to prevent litter leakage, inaccurate weighing, or device malfunction.
• Do not immerse or soak the bottom of this device in water or place it on a wet surface.
• When you are away from home for an extended period, ensure there is enough litter in the bucket and the drawer has been cleaned.
• Use only the original power cord; otherwise, damage to the device or other safety hazards may occur.
• If the power cord or plug is damaged, stop using it immediately and contact customer service.
• Ensure the power cord is properly positioned to avoid being stepped on, tangled, or crushed.
• Do not bend or twist the power cord to prevent overheating and damage.
• If the product is not used for a long time, disconnect the power cord from the power supply.
• Do not touch the plug or switch with wet hands to prevent electric shock.
• Do not disassemble, modify, or repair the product yourself. Doing so will void all warranty and service claims.

3. Product Information

The Smart Cat Toilet consists of the following components:

Carrying Handle

Located on the side of the unit for easy transport.

Power Interface/Connection

Port for connecting the power cord.

Display

Shows device status and information.

Infrared Module

Used for detecting the cat's presence.

Cabin Drum

The main rotating drum where the cat enters and the litter is processed.

Cat Litter Tray Flap

A cover for the litter tray compartment.

Air Freshener Holder

Compartment for the air freshener unit.

Cat Litter Tray

Removable tray for collecting waste.

Deodorizing Module

Component responsible for odor neutralization.

4. Instructions

Device Unpacking and Installation:

1. When you first receive the device, please remove the cabin drum. Lift the drum slightly and remove all packaging materials from inside the drum and the device. An illustration shows the back cover being removed, revealing the drum, and then the drum being lifted out. Arrows indicate the direction of removal.
2. Insert the cabin drum back into the device. Lift the drum slightly to position it correctly and close the back cover. An illustration shows the drum being placed back into the unit and the back cover being closed. Arrows indicate the direction of insertion.
3. Pull out the cat litter tray. Place a litter bag onto the tray, cover it with the flap, and push the tray back into the device. An illustration shows the litter tray being pulled out, a bag being placed, and the tray being slid back in.

Installation of the Air Freshener:

3. Lift and open the product lid. Remove the protective white liner from the air freshener. Reattach the lid and position the air freshener unit upside down in the circular groove of the cat litter tray assembly.

Notice: For best results and consistent performance, it is recommended to replace the air freshener every 60 days or as necessary.

4. Turn on the power. The device will reset automatically. Please do not add cat litter until the reset process is complete. An illustration shows the device plugged in and powered on, with a "Cabin Clear 30s" indicator on the display.
5. Add the cat litter through the doorway. The device may indicate the presence of foreign objects. Turn on the device to restore it to standby mode. An illustration shows cat litter being poured into the device through the main opening.

5. Device Networking

To connect your device to the network and use its smart features:

1. Please download the AstroPet App first. Then, scan the QR code provided to get the tutorial. The tutorial covers device networking and usage.

Notice: Please ensure your location services, Bluetooth, and internet connection are enabled on your mobile device.

2. Search for "AstroPet" in your device's App Store or Google Play. Download and log in to the app. Alternatively, you can scan the QR codes below to download the app or watch the tutorial.

QR codes are provided for downloading the AstroPet App (via App Store and Google Play links) and for watching the tutorial.

6. Maintenance

Cleaning Steps:

1. Execute the cleaning mode. Note: The device may be damaged if this step is skipped. After the cleaning mode is activated, turn off the power supply.
2. Open the back cover and remove the cabin drum. Lift the drum slightly upwards to remove it. An illustration shows the back cover opening and the drum being lifted out. Arrows indicate the direction.
3. Rinse the cabin drum and wipe it dry until there is no residual water. An illustration shows water being poured into the drum and then the drum being wiped.
4. Put the drum back into the device. Lift the drum upwards slightly to position it correctly, then close the back cover. Turn on the power, and the device will reset automatically. An illustration shows the drum being reinserted, the back cover closed, and the device plugged in and powered on.

7. Device Specifications

8. Warranty Card

Dear customers, thank you for purchasing this product. Please read the following warranty terms carefully before using this product:

1. The warranty period is two years, starting from the date of purchase (based on valid purchase records). AstroPet provides free maintenance for any quality problem within this duration.
2. The following conditions are not covered by the warranty:
   • Any malfunction or defect caused by improper environmental conditions of use.
   • Any fault or defect caused by improper installation, misuse, unauthorized maintenance, force majeure events, or other external reasons.
   • Any fault or defect caused by the use of non-original fittings or accessories.
   • The product has exceeded the warranty period.
   • Other failures or damages not attributable to product design, technology, manufacturing process, or quality issues.
   • Normal fading, wear and tear, or consumption during the use of the product.
   • Failure to provide a valid purchase certificate.
3. Please contact Customer Service within a reasonable timeframe to confirm warranty service status.
4. If the returned product does not meet the valid warranty terms, you will be charged for the corresponding maintenance costs.
