Product Overview

This document provides instructions for the safe and effective use of the Marta MT-1265 Hair Dryer.

Components

The Marta MT-1265 hair dryer is depicted with the following components:

  • 1. Concentrator: A nozzle attachment designed to focus airflow for targeted drying and styling.
  • 2. Air inlet: Vents located on the back of the hair dryer that draw in air.
  • 3. Housing: The main body of the hair dryer.
  • 4. Speed control switch: A slider switch on the handle used to adjust airflow speed and temperature.
  • 5. Foldable handle: The handle can be folded for convenient storage and handling.

Safety Measures

  • Read this manual carefully before using the appliance and save it for future reference.
  • Before first use, check the appliance specification and power supply in your network.
  • The appliance is intended for indoor, domestic use only. It is not intended for industrial use.
  • Do not use the appliance with a damaged cord, plug, or if it shows any other signs of damage.
  • Keep the power cord away from sharp edges and hot surfaces.
  • Do not pull the cord to unplug; always grasp the plug. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance housing.

  • Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down before cleaning or removing parts. Keep unplugged when not in use.

Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
  • If the appliance overheats, it will switch off automatically. Set the switch to the 'off' position (O), unplug the appliance, and wait for it to cool down completely. Ensure air inlets are clear of hair, dust, and other objects before restarting.
  • Blocked air inlets can cause appliance overheating. Regularly check that hair, dust, and lint do not enter the air inlets.
  • Do not use the appliance in bathrooms or near water sources to avoid electric shock.
  • Be careful, as the concentrator may become hot during operation. Do not touch it.

Using the Appliance

  1. Unwind the power cord.
  2. Set the concentrator onto the hair dryer.
  3. Plug the appliance into the mains.

Airflow Control

To adjust the power and temperature of the airflow, choose one of the modes using the switch:

  • II - Hot airflow
  • I - Warm airflow
  • Cool airflow
  • O - Hair dryer is off

Concentrator

The concentrator is used for focused airflow, allowing for precise drying and styling of individual hair sections.

Foldable Handle

The hair dryer is equipped with a foldable handle for convenient storage and easy handling. The handle can be folded only in the direction of the arrow.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Unplug the appliance before cleaning. Let the appliance cool down.
  • Clean the appliance housing with a damp cloth.
  • Remove the concentrator and rinse it in warm, soapy water.
  • Do not use chemical or abrasive cleaners for cleaning.
  • Wipe the housing and the concentrator with a smooth, dry cloth.

Storage

  • Allow the appliance to cool down completely. Ensure there is no water on the appliance surface.
  • Do not wrap the cord around the appliance housing, as this may cause cord damage.
  • Store the appliance in a dry, cool place.
