1. PRODUCT FEATURES

• Super bright: Utilizes 5050 RGB and ultra-bright 2835 lamp beads for a full spectrum grass light with a high color rendering index.
• Adjustable timer: Customize daylight periods (6, 10, or 12 hours) and night light periods (3, 5, or 12 hours). Options to set only daylight, only moonlight, or both.
• Adjustable brightness: Lighting mode can be adjusted through 6 stages of brightness: 10%-25%-35%-50%-75%-100% and back down.
• Fit for tank thickness less than 0.74 inches: Suitable for most rim and rimless fish tanks with glass thickness up to 0.74 inches.
• Excellent quality: Suitable for plant and freshwater aquariums. Lamp beads are IP68 waterproof.
• Power failure memory function: If power is lost, settings remain, only the time resets. After power restoration, the default operation starts at 6 am daily, regardless of previous mode.

3. INSTRUCTIONS

(1). INSTALLATION

Check all items in the box: 1 x LED light, 1 x AC/DC power adapter, 2 x Clips (HG018-14W/18W have one clip), 2 x Extendable rods (HG018-14W/18W have one rod), 1 x User manual.

Steps:

1. Insert the extendable rods into the clips.
2. Slide the clips onto the side of the light panel from the left side.
3. Adjust the extension length so the rods are aligned.
4. Place the light on the tank and tighten the four screws to secure the clips to the tank wall. The extendable rod allows adjustment of the distance between the light and the tank wall.

2. CONTROLLER DIAGRAM

The controller has buttons for setting daylight (DAY-L), moonlight (MOON-L), power/mode (ON/M), and brightness adjustment (Δ/∇).

Choose from four modes:

1. Daylight lighting only
2. Moonlight lighting only
3. Daylight and Moonlight lighting combined
4. Manual mode

1. Daylight lighting settings:

• Press the DAY-L timer button to select daylight lighting time: 6H, 10H, or 12H.
• The light simulates sunrise (orange light, dark to bright), daylight (full spectrum white light), and sunset (orange light, bright to dark). Brightness and color cannot be adjusted in this mode.
• The light will start at the same local time each day as when it was first set.

Lighting graphs illustrate the 6H, 10H, and 12H daylight cycles, showing sunrise, peak daylight duration, and sunset phases.

2. Moonlight lighting settings:

• Press the MOON-L button for over 3 seconds. Indicators for 3H, 5H, and 12H will light up.
• Press the ON/M button to choose the moonlight color (red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple).
• Press Δ/∇ to adjust moonlight brightness (10%-25%-35%-50%-75%-100%-75%-50%-35%-25%-10%).
• Press the MOON-L button again to select the moonlight lighting time (3H, 5H, 12H). The corresponding indicator will flash when the light is working.
• Brightness changes gradually from dark to bright, maintains set brightness for 2H/4H/11H (depending on timer setting), then gradually dims.

3. Daylight lighting + Moonlight lighting settings:

When both modes are set, the light follows the DAY-L timer settings. Once the DAY-L time is over, the MOON-L lighting begins.

The combined lighting graph shows the transition from daylight simulation to moonlight simulation.

4. Manual control:

• If brightness or color is adjusted manually, the timer functions will stop, and the light will switch to manual control for the current day.
• Turn on/off: Press ON/M once to turn on, press for 3 seconds to turn off.
• Select lighting color: Press ON/M after turning on to cycle through 9 colors: red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple, gradient cycle, and full spectrum.
• Brightness adjustment: Use Δ/∇ to adjust brightness (10%-25%-35%-50%-75%-100%).
• Manual control mode operates for one day only.

4. Attentions

• Read this manual carefully before use and follow instructions strictly.
• IP68 waterproof rating applies only to the bulb, not the control part.
• Use the matching power adapter.
• Keep the switch away from water as it is not waterproof.
• Keep the light away from flammable items.
• If the light malfunctions, unplug it and contact the seller. Opening the unit voids the warranty.
• Unplug the power before maintenance.
• Operating temperature range: 23-113°F (-5-45°C).

5. Warnings

• To avoid electric shock, do not immerse the switch in water. If it gets wet, unplug it before touching.
• Follow basic safety precautions.
• DANGER: Do not attempt self-repair. Return the light to an authorized facility if damaged, malfunctioning, or if water is present on non-waterproof parts. The power cord is not replaceable; discard the light if the cord is damaged.
• Position the outlet and arrange a "drip loop" for the power cord to prevent water from reaching the outlet or plug. If the plug or outlet gets wet, disconnect power via the circuit breaker before unplugging and inspecting.
• Close supervision is required when used near children.
• Avoid contact with moving or hot parts.
• Ensure the light is securely installed before operation.
• Observe all important notices on the light.
• Use an extension cord with a proper rating if necessary, ensuring it does not overheat. Arrange cords to prevent tripping or pulling.
• This light is intended for household use only.
