1. PRODUCT FEATURES

• Super bright: Utilizes 5050 RGB and ultra-bright 2835 lamp beads for a full spectrum light with a high color rendering index.
• Adjustable timer: Customizable time periods for daylight (6, 10, or 12 hours) and night light (3, 5, or 12 hours). Users can set daylight mode, moonlight mode, or both.
• Adjustable brightness: Lighting can be adjusted to 6 stages of brightness: 10%, 25%, 35%, 50%, 75%, 100%, 75%, 50%, 35%, 25%, 10%.
• Fit for tank thickness less than 0.74 inches: Designed for most rim and rimless fish tanks with glass thickness up to 0.74 inches.
• Excellent quality: Suitable for plant and freshwater aquariums. The lamp beads are IP68 waterproof.
• Power failure memory function: If power is lost, settings are retained, only the time resets. Upon power restoration, the light defaults to DAY-L/MOON-L mode or manual mode, starting at 6 am daily.

3. INSTRUCTIONS

①. INSTALLATION

Open the box and check all the items, which include:

• 1 x Led light
• 1 x AC/DC power adapter
• 2 x Clips (Attention: HG018-14W/18W has only one clip)
• 2 x Extendable rod (Attention: HG018-14W/18W has only one rod)
• 1 x User manual

Installation Steps:

1. Diagram shows an extendable rod being inserted into a clip. Put the extendable rods into the clips.
2. Diagram shows the light panel being slid onto the clips from the left side. Slide on the side of the light panel from the left side of the light.
3. Diagram shows two assembled clips with rods, with arrows indicating adjustment to make the rods parallel and aligned. Adjust the extension length so make the rods at the same line.
4. Diagram shows the light fixture placed on the edge of a fish tank, with arrows indicating tightening screws on the clips to secure it. Put the light on the tank and tighten four screws.

Dimensions and Attachment:

Diagram shows the light fixture with dimensions. The main body is approximately 4.2 inches long. The arm extends upwards and has a width of approximately 3 inches. The clamp mechanism is approximately 2.6 inches deep. You can fix the clamp on the fish tank by tightening the screws of clip. Diagram shows an arrow pointing upwards, indicating adjustment of the extendable rod. You can adjust the distance between the light and the fish tank wall with the extendable rod.

2. CONTROLLER DIAGRAM

The controller features buttons for setting lighting modes and parameters.

• DAY-L Timer Button: Press to choose the daylight lighting time (6H, 10H, 12H). Indicators for 5H, 10H, 12H are present.
• MOON-L Timer Button: Press to choose the moonlight lighting time (3H, 5H, 12H). Indicators for 3H, 5H, 12H are present.
• ON/M Button: Press once to turn on the light. Press and hold for 3 seconds to turn the light off. After turning on, press ON/M to choose the light color (except in Daylight mode).
• Brightness Adjustment Buttons (△/▽): Press to adjust the brightness of the light through 6 stages: 10%-25%-35%-50%-75%-100%-75%-50%-35%-25%-10%.

③. Operation instructions

You have four modes to choose from:

1. Only set daylight lighting
2. Only set moonlight lighting
3. Set both daylight and moonlight lighting
4. Manually mode

1. Daylight lighting settings

• (1) Press the DAY-L button to choose the daylight lighting time: 6H, 10H, or 12H.
• (2) After setting the time to turn on, the light will simulate sunrise (orange light from dark to bright), day light (full spectrum white light), and sunset (orange light from bright to dark).
• *Attention: Brightness and color cannot be set under daylight lighting mode.
• (3) On subsequent days, the light will start running at the same local time as the first day.

2. Moonlight lighting settings

• (1) Press the MOON-L button for more than 3 seconds. Indicators for 3H, 5H, and 12H will be on. Then press the button to choose the color of the moonlight lighting. You can choose from 7 colors: red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, and purple.
• (2) Press the △/▽ buttons to choose the brightness of the moonlight lighting (10%-25%-35%-50%-75%-100%-75%-50%-35%-25%-10%).
• (3) Press the DAY-L/MOON-L button to finish moonlight lighting setup.
• (4) Press the MOON-L button again to choose the moonlight lighting time (3H, 5H, 12H). The indicator of 3H/5H/12H flashing means the light is working.

Attention: Brightness will change according to the graph, gradually changing from dark to bright, maintaining the set brightness for 2H/4H/11H, and then darkening gradually.

3. Daylight lighting + Moonlight lighting settings

If both Daylight and Moonlight lighting are set, the light operates with the DAY-L timer setting when it's on, and starts MOON-L lighting when the DAY-L time is over.

4. Manual control

If you change brightness and color manually, the DAY-L/MOON-L timer will stop working and switch to manual control mode. This mode works for one day only.

• Turn on/off: Press ON/M once to turn on the light, and press for 3 seconds to turn it off.
• Select lighting color: Press ON/M to choose the color after turning on. 9 colors are available: red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple, gradient cycle, and full spectrum.
• Brightness adjustment: Press △/▽ to adjust brightness (10%-25%-35%-50%-75%-100%).

4. Attentions

• Read this manual carefully before use and follow instructions strictly.
• IP68 waterproof design applies only to the bulb, not the control part.
• Use a matching power adapter.
• Keep the switch away from water as it is not waterproof.
• Keep the light away from flammable items to avoid accidents.
• Unplug the light and contact the seller if it doesn't work. Warranty is void if opened by yourself.
• Unplug the power before maintenance.
• Note the operating temperature range: 23-113 °F.

5. Warnings

To avoid electric shock, do not immerse the switch in water. If the switch gets wet, do not touch it until unplugged. Observe basic safety precautions:

1. Read and follow this user manual strictly.
2. DANGER: To avoid electric shock, take special care. Do not attempt to repair yourself in the following situations; return the light to an authorized service facility or discard it.

• A. Examine the light after installation. Do not plug in if water is present on non-intended wet parts.
• B. Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug, if malfunctioning, or if dropped/damaged. The power cord cannot be replaced; discard the light if the cord is damaged.
• C. To prevent the plug/outlet from getting wet, position the aquarium stand and tank away from the outlet. Arrange a "drip loop" for each cord connecting the light to the outlet. If using an extension cord, ensure it has a proper rating.
• D. Close supervision is necessary when the light is used near children.
• E. Avoid injury by not contacting moving or hot parts.
• F. Ensure the light is securely installed before operation.
• G. Read and observe all important notices on the light.
• H. If an extension cord is necessary, use one with a proper rating (amperes or watts) to avoid overheating. Arrange the cord to prevent tripping or pulling.
• I. The light is intended FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY.
